Were talking scenarios much more severe than the Great Depression.
But this isnt just happening in America. Switzerland recently engaged in war games that simulated an economic collapse scenario, as well as an invasion by bankrupted nations and millions of refugees. In 2011, the British government developed plans to evacuate their citizens from European countries in expectation of monetary and economic crisis.
The exercises and drills may be compartmentalized so that most who are partaking in them dont really know why, but there are those in the higher echelons of power that know very well what the end game is going to be.
None of this is a coincidence.
If you arent taking steps to prepare for a new paradigm one plagued with destitution, riots, starvation and bloodshed then you are going to be a victim of whats coming.
Gordon Brown is right. When the economic system breaks down or the dollar collapses food, fuel, and medicine will be nearly impossible to acquire. The experience of Greeks, who saw this first hand, is a perfect example.
The only option for the government at that point will be to control the looting and violence that follows by declaring Martial Law and locking this country down.

I get the picture of galloping on horseback through a herd - no, a SWARM - of undead, unthinking, unfeeling, rotting, reeking Democra, err, Zombies... saber swinging left, then right, wheeling back to go through for a second pass... and the numbers have multiplied ten times what they were.
The camera pans out... and it’s just you, your horse... and a whole lotta Hell coming straight at yer face...
And you ride back, straight into them, because there IS no other place to go.
Not a bad way to go out... fighting.
What are the best cartoons you are referencing?
Bugs Bunny and Jonny Quest...
All the Looney Tunes/ Merrie Melodie stuff from the 40s/50/early 60s.
Greatest Battle Music of All Times To Glory
Pingeree for later listening!
“Its actually a better method for sustainability because it builds the soil instead of degrading it.”
I’m not a farmer. How practical are modern farming practices in a grid-down scenario? No gasoline, no modern fertilizers, etc.
“How practical are modern farming practices in a grid-down scenario? “
They’re not. And they aren’t even “practical” with the grid up! Modern fertilizers are actually degrading the soil to the point where it’s a lifeless powder.
In a nutshell, use animals and mulch. Not just animal manure, but have the animals on your land - they have behaviors that improve the soil, if managed correctly.
I still watched those old Bugs Bunny's in my early adulthood when they were still on broadcast TV which was what cable TV offered in those days (late 70s).
Flintstones was clever , I seem to remember it was another primetime cartoon in 1960s. Jetsons too. They had scripts that were more for teens then little kids.

lol
I think that was what they were aiming for
Flintstones, yes, definitely. I remember them being on around 8pm or so in the evening... Jetsons, I remember the cartoon, but only on Saturday mornings.
There’s a couple of nice DVD collections of the uncut, full Looney Tunes cartoons floating around.
I also found a list of all the episodes and the various edits - and when, and by whom - they were edited. I’ll look for it and/or the link and send it to you.
Like you said about the Jonny Quest cartoons in one of our earlier conversations, the PC crew went to work on Bugs Bunny too.
Stirs up the Inner Cossack inside me...
WE RIDE...
That was the liberal Moms at the end of the VN war ~ 70.
By ~ 1970 all Hanna Barbara Saturday action adventure TV series were canceled and replaced by Scooby Doo, Josie and pussycats, land of lost, Isis, ..total crap.
Our imagined best friend Jonny Quest had been canceled years before after first season due to high production costs but they replayed them on Saturdays in early 70s till the lib moms stopped that too.
early 70s lib moms kids were off smoking weed watching Scooby Doo.
Jonny is still alive on Boomerang cable station.
“...The number of people wandering the countryside with no help from the NK government, officially non-persons, or Kotjebi has grown. Their main diet is grass soup. Conditions in the detention camps are even worse of course, even in the Childrens Detention Camps there are people starving to death.
This is the Utopia, the Workers Paradise, this is the end stage of the dream of every leftist.”

Oh, sure! Criticize the North Koreans!
They have a lot less inequality there, you must give them credit for that!(according to lieberals)
There was a Jonny Quest remake sometime in the 80s that doesn’t quite cut it...
The originals had it all; monsters, science fiction gadgets, guns, robots, mummies, evil Commie bad guys...
And as for Scooby Doo... He sucks.
