Obama’s game is simple, to make the shutdown as painful as possible to average Americans and blame the GOP for it. Every day he is lecturing us about how the GOP can open up the government by passing the budget that he demands.
The house GOP/conservatives have countered by sending the Obama Senate separate spending bills that would stop Obama antics to hurt ordinary Americans. Naturally Obama rejects those.
The GOP is also countering by calling Obama out on these specific actions, like his kicking WWII vets out of the WWII National Memorial and American citizens out of the DC mall while welcoming illegals to hold an immigration rally at the same DC Mall.
Now Obama has a new trick he just pulled with families of US soldiers killed overseas. He decides that the these families can’t get their military death benefit for their deceased child/husband/dad soldier because those mean old Republicans shut down the government, then a few days later he announces that he is defying the congress and issuing an executive order to make those same payments that he stopped,
So Obama saves the day from the GOP, by reversing his own decision.
Wadda hero.

It’s against the law- at least against the “Pay Our Military” act- to pay anything but “pay and allowances” to the military.
That’s what Obama wanted- to make the shutdown hurt as many good people as possible- and that’s what Harry and Nancy delivered.

Well if Obama wants to make the case that he broke the law in doing this he can.
But he wont.
He’s contradicting himself almost daily. He sounds like a loonie to the average guy.
And neither will the media.
And any way you look at it it’s all a lie.
The Republicans need to keep a log of their efforts to negotiate with the President and their results and publish it weekly. They need to make it clear to everyone their aim is to defund and dismantle Obamacare and the specific reasons why (costs much higher than antiipated, the constitutional infringements, access to financial and private information, reduced quality of healthcare based on “bean counter’s” actuary tables and the citizens “usefulness” in society, past conduct by IRS, chipping agenda, privacy infringements, religious rights infringed upon, etc....) no matter which party they are, everyone understands that the feds digging these deep into our pockets as a tool of oppression, particularly give the recent actions against and treatment of its citizens is indicative of hat is to come.
Sounds like the Paul Ryan club has decided that Obamacare is no longer a problem and instead is shooting for cutting our SS and medicare instead(we cant afford both I guess) .
Time for Cruz to jump back in and finish what he started and defund Obamacare.

The four passenger helicopter already overloaded with eight just barely lifting off its roof top heli-pad. Attached to its steel tube runner type landing gear below the fuselage were about a dozen more desperate people clinging to the gear . As the craft struggles to get airborne. it lurches skyward as one of those clinging to the steel tubes used as landing gear lets go. Falling to a death some 35 feet down to the refugee crowded lamding pad atop the Saigon American Embassy roof..
They were fleeing South Viet Nam through its closed US embassy because American support was withdrawn and denied .Leaving its army running out of ammo and conviction. Sold out by an American congress controled ironically by Democrats that.decided to shed its support for a democratic form of government to what became a US ward for a socialist/communist replacement . It was a harbinger of what that political party will bring to the US 50 years later.
Because of Obamacare most recalling of defunding\ governemnt shutdowns simply goes back to Gingrich’s time when he was Speaker. This earlier defunding/ government shutdown had profound implications where hundreds of thousands died because of it. Like the constitutional constrains on central government. That abandonment of Viet Nam is hardly if ever mentioned or discussed in classrooms despite American humiliation could be demonstrated in that film clip described in this articles lead paragraph.. Because it was created by the Democrat party responding to the socialist/communist radicals that had taken over the “liberal arts eduicational industry” and were slowly taking that party over as well..
Not only did we lose a war because of it. But those same university socialist educators which encouraged this defunding , and dis-honoring the of the 58,000 deaths of our military. Also encouraged their charges to use humiliation such as calling retuning servicemen “baby killers” (only later to kill their own) and spitting in their faces Their educational products like Professor William Ayers are now on their own, and his protoge Barack Hussain Obama are borrowing a military term, on R&R . Running and Ruining destroying this country . For this time the same group are now in control of that political party.

His big plan was ‘wait it out and throw US boys at it till they give up’
Well ‘they’ weren't giving up because their country was there and ours was here.
What lost that war was that the NVN soldiers were willing to fight and our allies the South SVN army expected us to fight for them, to do their jobs.
