I just checked. Unless I inherit from a rich uncle, there is no way an Interstate Battery is going into my truck. The cheapest is almost $50 more than my budget will allow for at any one expense.
But thanks for the suggestion!
Oh, I didn’t expect you to save them, just admire them!
Currently I’m working on an Art Nouveau design with dragonflies and a Japanese lady in a kimono with flowers or something.
I save everything I am sent, no matter who it’s from. Which explains the amount of paper that overwhelms me. I keep thinking I need to squirrel away some money for the Neat Desk Scanner so I can “keep” things without being over-run by boxes and reams of paper, but it’s so doggone hard to do.
Before the month is out, I’m always tapping into the stash to buy meds or food or gas or even a doctor visit. Living on the edge seems to keep my BP perpetually high...
If there is a “bulletin” or “program” at a church service I attend, I keep that, too, just because it is part of my history, and it may be needed when my writings get to this point.
I just don’t dare toss something, as it might mean the difference between “sometime in the last five years” and “On August 20, of 2162, I did this and really enjoyed myself and the people who were feeding me...”
All you have to picture is 16 tablespoons of butter=16 pats of butter=1 cup of butter and it’s easy from there. Some see dead things. I see units of food. Everywhere.
I haven’t even started to think about arrangements. I hold out hope, but replaced it anyway.
It’s going to put a strain on me to lose this one...I mean...literally, the computer is my lifeline to the WORLD.
Mostly because I can’t get out and about like most people...
Get it backed up before it crashes!
“...pining for the fjords...”
That’s a hilarious book.
I bought a rebuilt battery when my Die Hard finally died hard. That rebuilt battery lived longer than the Die Hard it replaced.
Ask your local parts guru about rebuilt/reconditioned batteries.
I just finished the backup. It took 3.4 hours. If I knew how to move or delete stuff I didn’t really need, I would have done it before I backed it up.
But my computer classes in 1992 didn’t cover that... *snort*
I figured, Sweetie! Thanks! I will check on it. I don’t know where to find a parts guru (the last one killed my Ms. Daisy three years ago, and I’m leery) but I will ask the Racer In Chief. He should know someone who can do that.
So thanks!
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I’ve been really busy. Don’t poke around much any more, but I think of you guys alot!
(And I check every day to see T-C’s cat picture!)
What more do you need than T-C’s cat picture???
We all need the kittehs to get us In The Mood to face the day! LOL!
Good to see you! And thanks for checking in. (I’ve missed keeping up on your life and family, Gramma!)
Well, have I mentioned grandbaby #3 is on the way?
A boy this time, due December 7th. This is the last one, so it’s good thing they’re getting their boy child! I can’t wait!
Oh, my! A BOY! Yay! I missed the last one, and I’m so ashamed!
Good going G-Ma! I’ve been a GG-Ma since April, but I have yet to meet the baby and the baby mama. I may never get the opportunity, but I keep praying...life is really short at my age!
Please. Keep me posted on the Eventing!
Off to bed for now. Ta...
So each tablespoon is a half-ounce. I may remember that!
Now I’ll feel bad about sending you things. Maybe I can get Sally to scan them.
Seeing that look over the back of a couch.
