Just wanted to let you know, we’re coming up on 4,000. I’m going to go read a book to my sons, and then maybe we’ll watch a religious movie ...
You are too kind. Somewhere there should be a statue erected in your honor. You’ve got my vote for ‘Freeper of the Century’ next time that ballot goes around.
That's because they're all here..
Well, sort of...
It’s 59 degrees. I’m cold. I want summer to be here again...there is snow on Mt. Charleston. It looks really cold there.
I love shopping at Dollar Tree. Last time I got an 11x7 baking pan and a muffin tin that fit into the toaster oven.
There is something so cute about cat noses!
:(
I cannot get the IPhone or Xbox to work on the wifi.
I cannot reach an actual human on the phone and I can’t chat on the website because I use Linux.
Ack!
I have made that sound a few times
Like if you mix all the colors together and get mud.
Oh, dear. So much for the accented installer-person, huh?
You’re welcome. We read until I couldn’t stay awake any longer, and then I napped, but it looks like not much happened here in that time.
Now I have to go to the Food Lion and the gas station.
yep
I’ve been watching a thing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KG74s4DnRw
It is rather chilling, considering Today’s events...
(Slap me if I get too political!)
When I came home this morning (I left after 1500 yesterday) at 0415, the car that had been parked beside me when I left was parked in “my” spot. I wrote him a letter this morning, referring to the fact that 1) newbies allow oldbies to have whatever space they want, and 2) for a pastor-preacher-reverend, he is not being very Christ-like.
Perhaps this comes across as petty, but there are days, because of CFIDS, that it’s all I can do to drive where I need to go, and by the time I return, any extra steps are often more than I can handle safely. It usually means a relapse, either from the physical or the emotional aspect. Either way, it’s not healthy for me.
Because I have no ink in the printer, yet, I can’t print the letter, but from what I know of the residents in this cul-de-sac, none of them are happy with him. He seems rather vindictive and mean, (yesterday as an example) and no one wants to be nice to him.
Since there is no assigned parking, we are on our own, but there IS an unwritten law that those who have been here longer get the choice of parking spaces. My 7.5 years trumps his 7.5 months.
And then there are the caregivers who park in spots reserved for residents because there is no sign designating this as residential parking only. There are two lots on the circle that designate them as resident parking, but none here. My neighbor gets frothy at the mouth over this! Me? Not so much...they don’t know any better.
(Geeze! Whodathunk that old folks who are set in their ways get testy about minor things???)
Tech support finally.... and it works!!
[begin irrelevant tangent]
I love blog pimps and their STUPID defenders!
*lol*
Blog pimp claims his fingers are browen, he can’t post more than 300 words for some magic reason.
[Hmm.. having checked the “excerpt” box will do that..]
Then the usual idiots pop in to scream, whine, and then lie about forum policy on blog pimping.
WHen shown forum policy, one particular idiot wants to argue it out that policy isn’t policy.
She’s not giving the Alien Overlord Glare.
Congratulations!
You could write a letter by hand!
In other news, Tom has a paper due on Friday, and he’s done absolutely nothing. I just helped him put together a high-level outline, and hopefully he’s now working on gathering information. At least it’s not the 1980s, when you had to do all your research in the library, but he’s required to have a “print source,” so he’ll need to go to the library tomorrow. Matthews will be closed, but Union West is open.
