I love color coeds, but I was talking about Color Codes.
LOL! What a performance.
Did you recognize the “hostess?” Karen Black!
(DANG! I feel so OLD!!!)
I saw it in the caption. She was looking great!
I saw her on a re-run of Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and I still say she was under-rated as a performer.
“That’s a big dust bunny”
She was good in many roles. She played Tom Buchanan’s nutty mistress in “The Great Gatsby.”
We found out why the refrigerator fan stopped.
I hope your not asking me those questions. lol
Cuz my answer would be...
Albuquerque
It was being held hostage by a dust bunny?
Blame FredHelp for the typing.
The Uncle-in-Law knows what he is doing apparently, this dryer plug thing didn’t phase (heh) him at all. He had no problem changing it for the 4 prong.
Now for the water heater.
There was something I wanted to tell you, earlier today, but you were offline and I am offtarget! LOL!
OH!
YES! NOW I remember! :o])
Back in the day, when Igor and I lived in CA, he bought a telescope and spent MANY hours in the back yard, no matter the weather. Shortly after the purchase of the ‘scope, a magazine was advertised in a publication related to his employment (aerospace) at the time.
He subscribed and was a Charter Subscriber and enjoyed the mag so much, he took classes at Ohlone College, in Fremont, CA to increase his understanding and abilities.
He kept the subscription active for many years, but with our divorce, it, like many other things, lapsed.
A few weeks ago, I was apprised via email that the Astronomy Mag was still alive and well, so I composed an email.
HAHAHAHAHA! (I’m SO embarrassed!)
My letter was published in the latest issue of “Astronomy,” and some readers decided to listen to their hearts! One has given me a subscription to the mag (I’m at the point of tears, here!) and another has offered to send me some binoculars so I can at least see SOME of the Heavens!
I am so humbled about this, it’s hard to write about. I just know that I am more blessed than I ever thought possible!
That's fer sure... and if it's three phase, you'll have a blue in the mix for low voltage and a black in the mix for the really hot stuff..
There are still (last I knew) some buildings in NYC that are DC supplied. Con Edison probably 15 years ago, maybe even longer, went on a program to attempt to force buildings to convert everything to AC. Property owners in lower Manhattan (where most of this DC stuff is) pitched a female dog about the conversion costs not only from ConEd but in replacing all the rotating equipment in the building... So, Con Ed put rectifier banks out in their stuff to supply the DC to the buildings so they could scrap the DC generating stuff.
I want you to know that getting hit with 240 DC + to - will set your teeth on edge, make you taste metal for days, and give you really sore muscles from the contraction... ;-)
Not that I would have ever experienced that personally...
Astronomers, they’re just good people.
How well I know! Thanks for being one!
¿Que?
I hope your not asking me those questions.
Only if you wanted to venture an answer. But it is something I ask the noobies... ;-)
Not the ones on FR, the ones on the job. You know, the ones who are decades younger than me and think they know everything... ;-)
Ungh...I am feeling that...not from personal experience but because I am so freaking empathetic that I FEEL it! Dang!
The Bestids need to be hit with their own bat of many wattages...
I’ve wasted the last 20 years of my life toiling in a research lab with equipment that supplies 1KVDC for semiconductor characterization. Well, not wasted, the company made good coin on the patents.
It’s funny, because I decided against the the electrical construction work I could have done taking over my father’s business, but I hated shocks.
If you look east just before sunrise, mars, Procyon, and comet ison will be grouped together.
Might need binocs or something bigger to see it still.
