Good afternoon, y'all!
Lol!
Hello! I’m waiting for Tom to get home from school so I can take the byos to the library. I suppose now would be a good time to plan the Cub Scouts meeting ...
We’re going to do the “Run in place for 5 minutes” activity, for sure. They were so full of energy last week that they were almost impossible. We can do throwing a ball, as well.
They can learn to fold the American Flag, too.
Very attractive but sort of pricey....
Yes, the mug would appeal to her pragmaticism, I bet.
Seeing scouts properly fold the American flag gives Mr. Sg incredibly warm and fuzzy feelings!. Maybe you could have a running-in-place contest and award a prize to the last one who collapses.
What kind of sauce? What kind of casserole? I’m making broccoli cheddar soup and maybe some brown sugar cornbread.
Still waiting for Mario and Luigi. Maybe we need to organize a search party?
Utility company said it could take up to 7 (business) days to get the power hooked up.
argh
Tomato sauce, sausage-and-noodle casserole. It was well received when I made it a week or so ago.
Tonight we’re having au-gratin potatoes and chicken-something ... but first, the library!
Umm..
Aren't you so glad you're not, like, without power or something like that would really be inconvenient.
Oh, wait a minute...
extension cord from next door. It’s a wonderous thing.
Found it!
The folks in the Tourist Information Office where so kind and helpful.
However due to the budget cuts no-one has put a pound in the electric meter for six months
so the Quantum tunnelling device has had to go back to Rutherford for recalibration.
Hurumpf!
Um...no...wrong type of Fog.
You are thinking of water based Fog.
This Fog is not water based and is very much alive and dangerous.
Plus you're think a bit to far West....:D
Only problem is that your nominal extension cord has limited current capacity thus truncating the number and or size of the attached accoutrements..
On the other hand, if you do attach a number of power-using devices, said extension cord will become a linear basking rock for the local reptilian critters..
You will find them congregated along the path of their newfangled basking rock humming their mantra... "Ohm... Ohm..."
lol.
Me, laptop, niece, laptop, nephew, xbox, brother-in-law TV & Air Conditioner are all basking along the path.... ohm
It’s a pretty husky extension cord, come to think of it. Also was being used by the contractors.
Hello SG.
Arrived in York this morning after a four hour drive.
Imagine driving in the just post Morning rush hour traffic for four hours...(NY,NJ,LA,SF).
The City is it’s lovely mediaeval self, with narrow streets and alleyways to explore.
Spent the afternoon getting beautifully lost in the maze of Ancient buildings.
Tomorrow is up the coast a bit to Whitby, for the day. (That is assuming the ‘day’ will be interested...)
Got as far as the Abbey last year but not down into the town.(Doing too much in one day!)
The problems only start when a 'reptilian critter' of the wrong Phase starts to sing the mantra.
110v?
Sounds dreamy (except for the driving part lol!).... Are you fully refreshed yet? Thank you for updating us! I’m starting a new schedule, so I’ll be able to take a virtual tour of York as soon as I finish cleaning the kitchen!
So. You’ve been on walkabout all this time???
And to think I was WORRIED!
;o]
