I want to go to the thrift store, but the fuel pump is a bother, and I don’t want the truck to have to be towed back here. *sigh*

DP is in charge of the ‘puter. What will be, will be. Bill and Tom left for school, bickering. The rest of us will leave in about half an hour. I found enough winter clothes for teh byos in my storage box, so now I just need to look for the grils.
“You could wear this, and not look awful for a change.”
“No.”
Unnngh.

LOL!
Bill and Tom are always going to bicker when it comes to going to school. It’s easier to snipe at each other than risk The Wrath of Mom so early in the day.
I was thinking over the weekend that it’s almost time for me to drag out the winter clothes and put away the summer ones. Unnngh.
I dread winter, even though it doesn’t last long. I just don’t do well in the cold.

Howdy! Well it hasn’t snowed yet but if it had been a few degrees colder overnight it would have. Later

Mrs. Liberty needed a new motherboard a few months back for her Vista machine. Unfortunately, it was made out of “unobtanium.”

A successful but traumatic trip to the Salvation Army store. The girls, under threat of having to buy their own clothes or borrow mine, found enough clothes to get through their trip to England. Even if we redonate some items when they get back, we will come out ahead.
I got Pat a t-shirt from Greece. We can’t read what it says, because it’s in modern Greek, but maybe we’ll meet someone who can.

Elen and Sally are going, with my mother. Paying for their own clothes would obviously be sub-optimal, and mine are sturdy and appropriate for the weather ... can’t have that!

Your poor girls are so picked on. Dang.
Maybe they’ll come back and find you’ve moved...

I thought they were totally ridiculous but just suppose you were invited to a party with an olympic-sized pool and you have this slinky sarong to wear over your bathing suit which you wear instead of undies with your slinky sarong thing and then you decide to go for a dip after the volleyball game is over. Actually the sarong thing begins with a “c”, I think—can’t remember what you call them but there are dozens of ways to wrap them. I used to have a bunch of them.
