My real knowledge of Australia is very superficial.
I believe I could live down there real easy, but not sure the reality would be the same as my minds eye says it would.

For some years we have been hearing the expression “inside the beltway”—now we are seeing what this really means. I liked to use the metaphor of looking behind the curtain as in the curtain in the Wizard of Oz story. Now I think of it as more of a dance of the seven veils. There are many curtains and veils of deceit among the ruling class whether they be politicians, media, corporations or academia. We are just begining to get an idea of the elaborate fraud that has been American politics for a long time.
They don’t want to invite us to their birthday party — bleep them! Let’s have birthday parties of our own and lets ignore them to death. There is no reason why true patriots cannot associate with each other without having the duplicitous phonies breathing down our necks. There are many ways for people to assemble today whether in person or electronically. I can’t wait to see the real leaders of tommorrow come out from the shadows of these puffed up nobodies who call themselves leaders today. I don’t think this kind of politics of control was what the Founding Fathers were thinking about.

Reminds me of the movie “They Live”. They are beginning to drop the mask little by little, they are dropping the conservative mask while keeping the label of conservative. It is like diluting milk with water hoping that the consumers will not notice the difference.
To: ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas
The top leaders of both parties along with their major supporters, I believe, have been making deals behind the scenes for many years. They set the parameters of the debate, just enough differences so that the voters in both parties think that they are getting what they want but not enough to make any real changes. And no matter how much they rant at each other there has to be an agreement on what the final outcome will be. The Democrats get to achieve what they want because they are the more activists of the parties and the Republicans get the protest vote of those conservative who are angered by the liberals. This is political theater.

Does she answer to Chalupa or Gordita?
If she worked for Huntsman she’s even worse than the average McCain shill. Huntsman is a rank traitor.
