When asked about the rift between Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) and Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) on FOX News this morning, Sarah Palin said she is on "Team Rand." Palin said, "he gets the whole notion of 'Don’t Tread on Me' government, whereas Chris Christie is for big government."

Did you even read the articles you posted?

One is a hit piece on Reagan saying he failed to deliver on his promises. Reagan himself said he was a libertarian many times. It’s in his letters and in the video I posted.

Your other article is about Ron Paul, not Rand.

Ping to Sarah's Awesome List!

A Little bit of Libertarianism goes along away.

Maybe saying "NO" to The Fed every once in a while isn't just a bad thing after all.

We actually NEED TO CONSOLIDATE behind a good candidate early. We don’t want another 2012 where the conservatives & Tea Partiers split between lots of candidates, allowing Romney to take the GOP-e vote & win the primaries.

There may be issues with Rand, but he’s far & away my favorite at this point. I want him to appoint Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court. Cruz would do a great job there.

Folks, this is NOT an endorsement of Rand Paul for President. All she did was pick sides between Rand Paul and Chris Christie. And their divergent philosophies. That’s all, folks.

Precisely correct. Too obvious for some FR posters, not to be confused with FReepers.

Senators are legislators. Presidents are administrators. Two entirely different skill sets.

I agree with that when the legislator in question is a career-politician/lawyer. But Paul comes from the business world; I'm willing to make an exeption in his case.

We can’t slow it down by gently nudging the brakes, we have to slam them on as hard as we can

Your right but we lost the brakes five years ago. King Obama cannot be stopped with the PC crap the GOP and most Republicans have executed. Talk does shi!. Negotiate does shi!. Soft ball does shi!. Compromise does shi!.That is all we have been doing. America is finished for many years. We will riot this Country into a third world status when the economy crashes and the half of America that is on the take get pitched under the bus.

If you care about Free America, you must engage, resist and fight. Never quit. Never weaken. Never.

Cruz and Palin are heads above any other entity talked about running. I could support Rand if he mellows on loving him some mexican illegals but Sarah and Cruz are ready now.

I liken the Bolling question of “Are you on Team Paul or Team Christie?” to the question of “Do you prefer a nice bowl of brussel sprouts or a steaming pile of crap?”.

I’ll probably stand with Rand too even though I’m not thrilled about his immigration leanings. I’m still looking at Ted Cruz also.

We need to consolidate behind a good candidate early, or take a fight to the opposition early.

It is the second half of that, which is important.

I am just making the point that we need to win that fight this time, or else break from the GOP now and fight it out for real this time.

No backing down this time.

A choice between Christie and anybody is just that... a choice, not an endorsement.

Agree that Paul isn’t perfect, but he is the best way to truly bring about change in the GOP and get the old farts out.
