Forget the over-zealous prosecutors and the repellent state attorney Angela Corey (who should be immediately disbarred or, my wife said sarcastically, elevated to director of Homeland Security) and even the unfortunate Trayvon Martin family (although it is certainly hard to forget them — they have our profound sympathies), the true loser at the Zimmerman trial was Barack Obama.
By injecting himself in a minor Florida criminal case by implying Martin could be his son, the president of the United States — a onetime law lecturer, of all things — disgraced himself and his office, made a mockery of our legal system and exacerbated racial tensions in our country, making them worse than they have been in years. This is the work of a reactionary, someone who consciously/unconsciously wants to push our nation back to the 1950s.
It is also the work of a narcissist who thinks of himself first, of his image, not of black, white or any other kind of people. It’s no accident that race relations in our country have gone backwards during his stewardship.
Congratulations to the jury for not acceding to this tremendous pressure and delivering the only conceivable honest verdict. This case should never have been brought to trial. It was, quite literally, the first American Stalinist “show trial.” There was, virtually, no evidence to convict George Zimmerman. It was a great day for justice that this travesty was finally brought to a halt.
We all know Al Sharpton, the execrable race baiter of Tawana Brawley and Crown Heights, agitated publicly for this trial more than anyone else. But he most likely would not have succeeded had it not been for Obama’s tacit support...

I don’t know much about his father, mother, or step-mother. Based on the stoic faces I saw during the trial
(except when they were on the stand performing on cue), they likely were thinking about other things - like how to spend that $1million settlement from the home owners’ association insurance company.
The only thing I’d add to your comment is that the “statism” Obama is angling for is not a statism of the 50 States kind. It is one of totalitarian absolutism backed up by unassailable force.

This is reference to an editorial run in Canada Free Press. The Canadians got it right.! Too bad half of the so called conservatives talk show hosts I’ve been listening to can’t seem to be willing to connect the dots to what a heavy hand his imperious highness played in this example of socialist justice meted out to serve the policies of the state . Turning this into a show trial replete with wall to wall tv coverage.
.For certain since the not guilty verdict has been rendered the facts of this case are still being concealed by the media such as pictures of both side by side they look like cousins. The area that Zimmerman “watch captain” of was rife with single and groups of blacks on the prowl, in some instances armed, preying on homeowners.in his area.. .
Even after learning the shooter was a very dark skinned hispanic. Obama did nothing to curtail the hyperbole claiming the neighborhood watch captain was a “white hispanic” by a compliant propaganda machine.or using a picture of a 12 year old Martin instead of the 6 foot 165 pound person he was vs the smaller 140 pound neighborhood watch captain. Worse yet allowed his US Attorney General to use questionable activities to promote a show trial and ignored using a threat of prosecution to black militant groups threatening the watch captain’s life.
Meanwhile attacks by black groups on selected happless white victims which wind in their death get ignored by the mainline socialist messengers MSM service and black on black killings many of the age of the so called victim is likewise same-o same-o.

I saw a big fat white woman on Geraldo last night with three mixed race kids. I’ll bet there are three absentee fathers somewhere. I’ll also bet she’s on welfare. (My wife said she can’t help but believe that not too long ago this woman was calling blacks n_____s.) The woman said she would teach her kids to do what Trayvon did. Geraldo nailed her butt! Then she backtracked and said she’d teach them to run if they could.
