BG's Saturday evening update....

Thank you Lord for these children of mine.

I lost it at what we figured was the time Ron left us one week ago. Ryan held me...

Then the rest of the CA kids got here and oh wow...so good, so very very good.

Thanks everyone. I don’t want to do tomorrow, I don’t I don’t I don’t...

============================================

Jim, I know. I truly know.,.i couldn’t have gotten this far this week without those prayers.

I’m forever grateful to each of you.

The dogs have been brushed and gussied up for the funeral tomorrow. You betcha bippy. I’m not only having a Freeper funeral for Ron...I’m bringing the dogs.

:)

Yes, to anyone wondering, I have the Pastor’s permission.

Signing off...we covet your prayers for tomorrow.

Much love,
BG and Clan. :)

To BG—

You and yours are still in my heart and prayers.

I must tell you that even in your grief, I read your posts and feel uplifted, happy and warm inside when I’m done. Of course I am extremely saddened by your loss, and know you are going through a very hard time, but your spirit and belief in God and love of your family shows through and it can’t but make me smile, even though bittersweet. It will be hard but I know you’ll be fine because of your generous nature and faith!

To: Kathy in Alaska; All

Kathy, if you would be so good as to ping-list this out.

My wife and I traveled to Prescott and attended Ron’s memorial service to be with Brad’s Gramma today as did two other FR members.

It was a wonderful service where family, friends and co-workers attended. We had a good visit with a number of them at the lovely reception that the girls prepared in the fellowship hall. We even got to see Brad, all grown.

Freeper, Sparky Bass, another from the area was there as a solid recent acquaintance of BG and it is good to know there is a good fellow and his family nearby. I will let them add their own accounts when possible.

Ron was widely discussed as the strong patriot he was and how his regard for his family was a keenly known attribute by his friends and business associates.

I would like to tell you that Brad’s Gramma was a stolid, boring, person and the effervescence, originality and jazzy personality we see on the forum is just a show. But as sometimes happens, the version in print is much like the version in person and shows through even in a tough time.

With a deep loss, we all carry a heavy shroud, as did our dear FR friend, but the light of each person shines through in even the toughest hour and it did so today and we can rest assured that with her strong faith she will make it through this passage.

We would like to thank her and her family for our warm inclusion in this difficult time as we attended representing and carrying the best wishes of you all.
