Depending on how fast the train was going, it will take awhile to stop. Although it probably won’t go TOO much farther once it derails!

I wish George Bush would learn how to park his rig.

there is a rail crossing, but it well beyond the bottom of the picture.Trains don't stop on a dime so it would move a ways down the rail. Interestingly, the note at google maps says the business at the intersection makes custom trailers for commercial and government application.

Not an 18 wheelers parked.
It was a roll back and driver was injured.

it looks like the 18-wheeler parking lot is a good distance from the train tracks.

Very good perspective from Google maps. Apparently the crossing is roughly 1400 feet back from where the train hit whatever was on the tracks - and shoved it roughly that far down the rails before the explosion took place.
The bad part, the engineer and fireman aboard that train engine are probably not with us any longer.

Now if Republicans had any cajones they would be screaming that this is the reason why oil should be pumped by pipeline and not Warren Buffetts railroads,

Just wait until we get some 230mph bullet trains into service; those accidents will be horrific.
