Dick Durbin Defends Commies and Socialists at May Day Rally (Video)
Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday, May 2, 2013, 11:07 AM
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) spoke at the Chicago May Day rally yesterday in Chicago. After his speech Durbin defended the communists and socialists at the leftist event.
Rebel Pundit interviewed him:
Rebelpundit: There is a large contingent of Communist Party USA, anarchists, international socialist groups here today that you just spoke to
Durbin: How do you know that?
Rebelpundit: Because Ive filmed them all day, and you just spoke to them, so Id like to ask about your participation, why you decided to come out today?
Durbin: Well let me just say something, because [pause] I believe in the Constitution. Do you believe in it?
Rebelpundit: Because you believe in the Constitution you decided to come out to a rally full of communists and socialists?

Durbin had an extra large glass of the Kool-Aid.
Sen. Durbin can run for re-election in 2014. I know a conservaitve Republican, in that race, Chad Koppie. Chad thinks that ICE should try to deport more illegal aliens, and he’s also pro-tax cuts, pro-spending cuts, pro-life, and pro-gun rights.
Most Americans now do not know about LOYALTY DAY.
Many freepers are not aware of Loyalty Day either.
As a military veteran on May 1st I participated with my local VFW Post in placing American Flags on the graves of veterans at the local cemeteries.
LOYALTY DAY
The Maypole celebration apart, the May Day is also important to all average Americans for yet another reason. The Loyalty Day! Americans today celebrate May Day as a Loyalty Day. The day of parades of veterans, drum and bugle corps, Boy Scouts, visits to national shrines and doing things in the honor of the patriots. Schools, churches, fraternal societies and different organizations come alive tosponsor these events. The motto is to instill the zeal to ‘remain loyal to America’. Specially among the children and the youth. Indeed, it is a day, meant for making all of you in America feel proud of your country. The county to which you belong.
However, its origin is not rooted long ago. Though the exact beginning of the date of observance is not known, the concept stemmed in the early 1930s. The bid to celebrate May Day as Loyalty Day came in rather as a counteractive bid. A bid to counteract the May Day Communist exhibitions in the United States. Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars thought that a challenge must be given to what they considered as the ‘disruptive forces of the communism’. And they wanted that the loyalty of Americans to the American ideals must be asserted to prevent the growth of communism in America. So, in the early 1930s they began urging the institution of war veterans with organized parades and ceremonies. Other patriotic organizations joined in. And with the help of speaker’s bureaus and an extensive letter-writing campaign, celebrations on the theme of loyalty to America took hold. This was aided by patriotic plays, oratory contests on national issues and tours to national shrines. These were sponsored by schools, churches, labor unions, fraternal societies and other groups.
While the concept came into being quite early in the ‘30s giving rise to various functions, it took until 1949 to proclaim the observance of Loyalty Day. And this was when forty nine states and territorial governors joined in. Thanks to the efforts of Senator Karl Mundt of North Dakota and Representative James E. Van Zandt of Pennsylvania. In May 1, 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower made it a day of national observance.
In 1932 some patriotic organizations were encouraged by the Loyalty Day concept and wanted to do something more to inspire loyalty to the nation. So, the concept of Americanism Day came into being to be celebrated on the same day of the Loyalty Day. The first Americanism parade was held in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, in 1932. The day has since merged with Loyalty Day.

LOYALTY DAY
Loyalty Day originally began as “Americanization Day” in 1921 as a counter to the Communists’ May 1 celebration of the Russian Revolution. On May 1, 1930, 10,000 VFW members staged a rally at New York’s Union Square to promote patriotism. Through a resolution adopted in 1949, May 1 evolved into Loyalty Day. Observances began in 1950 on April 28 and climaxed May 1 when more than five million people across the nation held rallies. In New York City, more than 100,000 people rallied for America. In 1958 Congress enacted Public Law 529 proclaiming Loyalty Day a permanent fixture on the nation’s calendar.

Little dick is such an ass.
In the old days.....the police would have broke this sort of meeting up with horses and firehoses.
Now we have unions.
For example he says “The Constitution is what allows you to ask what you want without being arrested”
and he follows up with “Oh - do you think I should be arrested for asking you this?”
Durbin does NOT want to be cornered into admitting he is in league with the socialists HE IS SPEAKING TO
It is very difficult to come to terms with the situation we are in, because it is so heartbreaking.
It takes one (Communists and Socialists) to know one!!
Obama Panders To Big Labor On Workers Memorial Day
Posted 05/02/2013 07:09 PM ET
Demagoguery: President Obama blew another dog whistle to Big Labor this week with his proclamation of “Workers Memorial Day” a renewed effort to demonize business and replace it with bigger government.
Coming just before the communist international May Day, “Workers Memorial Day” was a 1984 invention of Canada’s public employee unions to promote unionization by politicizing the death of anyone killed in a workplace accident no matter what the cause, making business the bad guy.
Obama moved right into the character of this on April 27, issuing a far more militant declaration on behalf of unions and big government on Workers Memorial Day than he has in the past:

Saul Alinsky and the Gang of Eight
Exactly who will benefit from the immigration integration in the Schumer-Rubio bill?
By John Fonte
At the press conference introducing their bill, the Gang of Eight evoked the spirit of Ted Kennedy. But the 24 pages of the 844-page bill (pages 37094) dealing with immigrant integration stand as a rousing tribute to Saul Alinsky. If this bill becomes law, you can be sure, as night follows day, that federal dollars will pour into radical left-wing activist groups to promote immigrant integration.
