CNN: Pressure Cooker Bomb 'Right-Wing' Signature

An article published on CNN's website makes an unproven claim that pressure cooker bombs like the ones used at the Boston Marathon terror attack are a 'signature' of 'right-wing extremists.' The article was co-written by Jennifer Roland and Peter Bergen. Bergen is the CNN ananlyst made the claim that right-wing extremists could be behind the bombing less than two hours after it took place.

The article says (emphasis added) :

A senior U.S. counterterrorism investigator told CNN that pressure cooker bombs have also been a signature of extreme right-wing individuals in the United States who he said tend to revel in building homemade bombs.

This specific claim that "pressure cooker bombs have also been a signature of extreme right-wing individuals in the United States" appears to be completely unsubstantiated. Not a single example is given even in the CNN story itself of anyone other than al-Quadea using a pressure cooker bomb.

The article goes on to discuss the Olympic Park bombing by anti-abortion terrorist Erich Rudolph but those bombings were done with pipe bombs, not pressure cooker bombs. .......

I have never ever heard of a right winger using a pressure cooker for anything other than canning in the fall.

That is what he was alluding to - most of those damn conservative, rural, Bible-thumping, gun-grasping dweebs have pressure cookers! So, OBVIOUSLY, they are the most likely to have done this!

Call me nuts, but I suspect the 'fix is in', the real bombers are a thousand miles away and the administration and media have no interest in uncovering who really did it.

Whats the advantage to the democrats if it turns out to be Islamic terrorists? Nothing, in fact Americans might demand retribution. They might decide they want the means of defending themselves expanded, they may want tightened immigration standards.

On the other hand, endless media speculation that right wingers are responsible is very useful to them and their agenda. Almost as good as if they caught a tea partier red handed planting the backpacks. The effect is the same.

While we are speculating, I wonder whether Obama’s parasite illegal alien Muslim uncle might be in involved. He lives in Boston. And he may be outraged that, after only two DUIS and decades of breaking our immigration laws, some low level ICE cog had the nerve to request his removal from the USA.
