In a roundtable discussion on MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry Show, Penn University's Anthea Butler outdid the panel of outraged socialists invited to sit and tell Ms. Harris-Perry how smart she is and affirm her position by never daring to offer an opposing view (I kid you not, that seems to be the formula for the show, way to challenge your viewers with new ideas, NBC News.)
The discussion was aimed at attacking NPR's recent report about disability and food stamp entitlement spending. Though the conversation quickly degenerated into an attack on corporate America because, apparently, they are the ones at fault for increased entitlement spending all the while companies like WalMart end up being the sole beneficiaries of programs like food stamps because recipients of the entitlement spend their federal money at WalMart. Therefore, food stamps are really just corporate welfare....

Weird. The only people I’ve seen in chains and bearing whip marks at our Walmart are some of the customers. These clowns can’t tell a Walmart shopper from a Walmart associate. Braindead.
My sister has been enslaved by Walmart for 20 years.
While it lasts.
I thought Ben Bernanake not Walmart had this calling.
What we need is a new “underground railroad” for all Walmart associates. LOL! I think another Civil War like the lefties are calling for would be a bit much though.
Young people today are smart enuf to know that if you work for a Stop n Go or mini-mart or some low-paying job, you can get benefits from Welfare because you’re low income. Move in with your significant other who also has a low-paying job and you can both collect.
yeah how dare they employ people at wages they will work for. assholes.
libtards, private sector businesses don’t have the power to tax and borrow from your children’s futures.
I’m on it! I do so LOVE my local Wal-Mart. It’s clean. It’s organized and it’s run by Little Old Norwegian Grandmas with their Grandkids as the checkers and Stockers.
(They long to serve Lutefisk and Lefse on the weekends, but Company Policy forbids that. As it should, LOL!)
I would LOVE to smuggle one of those Grandmas to my house to live for a while as she makes her way further North To Freedom. I miss my Grandmas and would LOVE to have a proxy at home with me. :)
Will never understand why anything from MSLSD is ever posted.
If the right-of-center would quit reposting their daily crap keeping it alive, it may finally die.
Liberals know this, that’s why they keep doing it.
Thank you conservatives for keeping MSNBC relative.
A colleague’s son was enslaved by Wal-Mart when he was 18 (that was late 70’s) they enslaved him first as a stock boy and continued his enslavement for about 30 years, before he broke the chains and retired as a multi millionaire (he participated in the stock option plan).
BY THE NUMBERS
1 The truth is that Wal-Mart is a major blessing for most Americans who live close enough to one to shop there and for the people who work at them.
2. When a Wal-Mart opens in a town, he said, it’s as if everyone in the town got a raise. That’s because the stuff at Wal-Mart is so much cheaper than that same merchandise was anywhere else.
3 Target and Sears and K-Mart and J.C. Penney and Brooks Brothers also sell good stuff usually at bargain prices, but they do not have the same reach of stores, the same astounding prices that Wal-Mart offers every day. This makes the people who shop there richer.
4 Everyone is a consumer, and Wal-Mart is about as good a friend as the consumer ever had.
5. The gains in prosperity in the developing countries because their people can sell to America through Wal-Mart are astounding.
6.the people who work at Wal-Mart, they seem to me to be bright, alert men and women who work there because it’s the best they can do in their town or at their age. Plus, they seem happy. The usual clerk at Wal-Mart gives a lot better service than the clerk at Tiffany. I would like it if they were paid more, but they are in a competitive labor market. And what about those greedy stockholders? A lot of them are those same Wal-Mart clerks, many of whom got rich from their stock.

Why do so many black women use hyphenated surnames? A lot a white women do too, so it’s not a black thang, but a much higher percentage of black women appear to be sporting the hyphen.
Anthea Butler wouldn’t be able to find that 30/32W dress she is wearing to fit her fat ass in, if it wasn’t for corporate America. Lucky they get tax breaks to carry them.
She should go to Walmart and buy herself a Mirror and a Hairbrush.
Either that, or keep her fingers out of light sockets.
Dear Liberal,
The “Enslaved Sharecroppers” in this country are those Obama has trapped in a cycle of government dependency, so that liberals are ensured a growing class of ever dependent voters.
By condemning and penalizing and regulating and taxing all attempts at self-sufficiency, growth, independence, and success, Obama and his ilk are destroying what has made this country great.
Union pensions are underfunded. The Union bosses want more contributors so they won’t have to spend their golden years working at Walmart.
I’ve found that the real reason that your everyday joe liberal type hates wal-mart, is mostly because the unwashed masses shop there.
