There are times when someone says something so incredibly stupid that it just begs to be shared. Such is the case with the Democratic Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, Madam Nancy Pelosi. She was on Fox News yesterday and she actually had the nerve to come out and say what is no doubt the prevailing opinion of the liberal wing of her party. I just can't believe she said it on national TV.
(Breibart)With the sequester set to kick in on March 1, President Obama and his Democrat allies are hell-bent on shifting the conversation away from proper government cuts, and toward higher taxes. On Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took to Fox News Sunday to explain that America does not have a spending problem. It is almost a false argument to say that we have a spending problem. We have a budget deficit problem, Pelosi insisted.Of course, Nancy Pelosi is only stating what we already know. President Obama point-blank told John Boehner that he was getting tired of hearing we had a spending problem, making it clear he did not believe that to be the case. This begs a question to be asked of the liberal Democrats. If they refuse to see how out of control government spending is destroying our country, how can they honestly negotiate an agreement to stop and repair said damage? The answer is simply a resounding, WE CAN'T! We can blame John Boehner for the lack of productive negotiations with the Democrats, I have done so myself, but in reality, how is he supposed to negotiate with an addict who refuses to admit they have a problem? More and more, I am convinced that this particular crop of Democrats can not be negotiated with.

Others talking about Nancy Pelosi and her lack of reality are:
“I don’t have an eating problem, I have a weight problem”
We have a Pelosi/Reid/Obama Cartel problem.
If you have the right moral foundation, you don't spend too much.
If you have the right moral foundation, you have whole families, not living together without commitment. Also, divorce is significantly reduced and children are much better off spiritually and emotionally.
If you have the right moral foundation, people don't kill people for the fun of it, for perceived slights or even real wrongs. They just forgive and go on. You don't have children shooting up schools, people shooting up politicians (Gifford); people grabbing kids off of buses and running into bunkers and getting into firefights with police, people shooting police and the public defending them for doing so.
If you have the right moral foundation, you don't have a homosexuality problem. People with the right moral foundation don't want to live that way or have anything to do with the perverted lifestyle at all.
If you have the right moral foundation, people show respect for authority and authority doesn't abuse those under authority.
No, we don't have a spending problem, gun problem, an immigration problem of allowing millions of people to come and live here who have little or no real moral foundation, marriage problem, killing problem, gay problem or any other problem other than a severe moral problem. If we could ever SEE that such is the problem and start to fix it by turning back to God, we wouldn't have all of the other problems.
“I do not have a heroin problem. It’s also not my problem that I want more heroin. It’s other people’s problem that they won’t give me money to buy heroin, because they are bad people, so I have to take it from them. But I have no problem with that, either.
“I have cut back on my heroin use. In between times of taking heroin I do not take heroin, which is the same as a cutback, and it is essential that I take heroin in between the times I am taking heroin, until I am taking more heroin all the time.”
When the Progressives have power they subvert it.
They’re doing it now, they’re loving it, and so is their hardcore constituency.
(At least, when the Republicans held the reins, they knew where the stops were.)
Progressives are hardcore adherents to an international movement that has no basis in American traditions and law.
(More like Eastern Europe of the 1960’s)
IMHO
If there was ever a case to be made about what is evil, Nancy Pelosi fits the bill.
Palin gets a months worth of coverage if he says something off the wall yet this woman gets a free pass for some of the most asinine comments. Who can forget unemployment checks stimulate the economy
Its all those filthy taxpayers who won’t send us enough money.
Nutsy either has a drinking problem, a drug problem or she’s just another spaced-out brainless marxist idiot who has so damned much money she doesn’t have to worry.
In the latter category she’s in with the entire Democrat Party and the feckless, America-hating phony halfrican.
That’s what I’m wondering. In a way she might be right. The rampant wasteful spending is a problem and has to be stopped. Bad as it is though, are the three socialist-fascist stooges worse?
In effect, she has a do the opposite of the truth and common sense problem. Obama is the same way. It is a recognition of the truth, but I am going to do it the opposite way no matter what. My son did this when he was 4, and was told the cigarette lighter was hot. He knew it but touched it anyway. In that instance that only hurt him. What these types do inflict damage upon all of this. It is simply a culmination of the hippie attitude of the 60s. That was started by folks just a bit older than the hippie generation. They will not do what is right.
The difference between Nancy and an alcoholic is that the alcoholic’s denial is in part, self delusion.
Nancy actually knows better and is simply attempting to deceive others, in order achieve more power and control.
I watched interview and I found Pelosi logically incoherent. She was simply reciting the current Democrat mantras that frequently had little or no relevance to the interviewer’s questions. I got the impression that Chris Wallace was treading very carefully as he did not want to push her over the edge where her break with reality would be obvious to all.
It’s NOT a spending problem when the “slush fund” sends billions to your friends. It’s just “business”.
“Actually, Nancy is telling the truth (for once). SHE doesn’t have a spending problem. SHE has plenty to spend, and can reach into your pocket when SHE decides to spend for you on what SHE deems appropriate, and has no problem in doing that...”
Plus in her own household Nancy has plenty of money to spend because her hubby has become a multimillionaire thanks to the sweet insider real estate deals made possible by Nancy’s political career.
Nancy’s nest is feathered with gold thanks to the government. In her mind government power is unlimited and America’s private sector resources are both unlimited and there for the taking. How can there be a spending problem if the government can take what it wants and print as much money as she and the other elitists perceive it needs? Nancy’s attitude is no different than the 4th generation welfare queen living in Section 8 housing and getting her new Obamaphone. Welcome to the new reality that Boehner and McConnell have no will to change.
We have a stupid problem.
The ROOT cause of the problem is people like her in congress and the traitorous sheep in congress then enable her.
There are about eight politicians that should be impeached/recalled is this Country is to survive and she is among them.
