Weve had a wide variety of conservative: the neo-cons, the paleo-cons and most recently the crunchy cons. Have you ever noticed how many of the most prominent conservative voices in America sound more like liberals? I have, and I believe they are in class all their own: they have a special mission and fit a particular profile.
They are what I like to call kept cons. They are kept by liberals in that kept cons generally work for liberal institutions and seem to fill the role of token...

David Frum would be an example of a kept conservative. It’s nearly impossible to tell the difference between his writings and the Democrats.
Why make a new term? Just simply call them REPUBLICANS.
Right?
Weakly Standard; “kept con”
Am I getting through to anybody?
Yep!
True, but this is within our own party. Now we have Carl Rove forming a new so-called conservative PAC to take on the tea party. I am sick of the Carl Roves and Steve Schmidts thinking that they have to control every election. I’m sick of the elitists in the GOP talking a good talk when it comes to elections, but then making one bad deal (for true conservatives) after another. We get this time after time...and we are admonished that we need to support these hapless republicans because we cannot let the democrats get the seat. What does it matter any more? We get the same thing regardless. If we cannot have true conservatives in the GOP, then we need to form a truly conservative party...and NOW!

It is high time to SMASH the GOP and send it into the ash heap.
No more Browns, McCains, Roves, Rubios, Boehners,et. al.
It is time for a GENUINE, Bible-believing, grass roots conservative movement!
What do they get when they bend over and grab the ankles?
Beware of the saboteur within our party, planting the seeds of discontent.
Hell, politicians is fine (to call them). Nearly every single one of them (RAT or Rep) is FAR more invested in getting as much out of the status quo before the wheels fall off the cart than they are in seeing the Republic prosper to the benefit of its citizens. On general principle, all of them (maybe save a half dozen or so) should go.
“Weakly Standard; kept con”
Forbes, Weakly Standard...there is a difference?
