I don’t know why this should shock us. We were kind of aware of this four years ago.

“Garrow replied: The man who told me this is one of Americas foremost military heroes.”
If this is true, a real hero and patriot would come forward publicly. Ideally several would come forward publicly. The fact no high ranking general officer has come forward, despite all of the recent sackings suggests:
1) The assertion is not true or
2) We have no patriots in the general officer corps.

In older saner days this would be quite a scandal. Posse comitatus, and all that. I think the idea today is for the big complex Fedguv to be so confusing that nobody can follow it any more.

The Generals don’t fire on anyone, they merely order it.
It is the soldiers we have to worry about.
Will America’s LGBT military fire on us?

When you listen to democrats talk - the only ‘enemy’ they seem to have are conservative Americans. These are the folks giving fighter jets to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.... training Saudis in Texas... trying to take guns away from American citizens....

General “Weasley” Clark would give such orders.
Is his “type” of officer known for what he is?
We shall see?
Time to cast bullets yet? We shall see.

I do not believe this. All of those “being removed” for this reason, would blow the whistle, big time. This is a piece of propaganda put out by the left.

Google the 29 Palms Questionnaire. This dates back to 1988 if I recall rightly. Marines stationed at the 29 Palms Marine base in California were asked this question back then. It created a firestorm of controversy. I thought at the time it was a harbinger of bad things to come. Looks like it may well be nigh.

Given Obama’s disdain for the US military, I doubt that many troops would fire on their fellow citizens even if ordered to do so. The military swears to uphold the Constitution not give blind allegiance Obama

Prior to Germany's invasion of France there was serious misgivings in Germany's high command regarding the 'Austrian Corporal's pending plans. Serious enough that a coup was being discussed at the highest of levels (albeit a small circle). But the coup was ultimately nixed by Commander-in-Chief of Home Forces General Friedrich Fromm for, among other reasons, an inability to assure the participation by the infantry, whom he feared would remain loyal to Hitler.
I think here we would have the opposite case, the Generals might give the command, but would they be carried out by the men pulling the triggers?
I would be shocked if 0bama had 20% support amongst the troops.
