Good News: You May Be Spared Execution

Back in those quaint days when KGB-supported communist subversives planning to overthrow a republic had to meet in secret to discuss their operations, William Ayers and his chums reportedly opined that during the post-revolutionary period of normalization, approximately twenty-five million Americans (ten percent) would have to be executed. Today, however, I have good news: that number may now be reassessed at as low as ten million, which, when one factors in the increase in the overall American population since the original estimate was made, suggests as much as a seventy percent savings in the government's stockpile of ammunition. There's a spending reduction we can all applaud.
To refresh your memory, Mr. Ayers -- now Dr. Ayers, of course -- while a leader of the youth outreach program known as the Weather Underground, was asked by one of his cohorts, FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, about the contingencies of power should the group actually succeed in its revolutionary activities. Specifically, Grathwohl asked what might be done with that minority of the adult population that would continue to resist communism even after it had been so eloquently justified through the violent seizure of power.
The young Renaissance man -- author of the brilliantly-reasoned dope fantasy Prairie Fire, and later of some prominent works on teaching social justice to toddlers, a comic book, and one Harvard Law graduate's autobiography -- deigned to answer Grathwohl's question earnestly. "For those who continue to cling to their Bibles and their guns," he said -- oh, wait a minute, that was the Harvard Law graduate. What actually happened, according to Grathwohl, was this:
They also believed that their immediate responsibility would be to protect against what they called the counter-revolution...

I agree with this guy, but I would not limit it to public education. Any education, whether public or private, is indoctrination. Each generation tries to impose ts views and values on the next, but is never completely successful at that. Jefferson felt that it is none of our business what those who survive us do with the world after we are gone. That can be hard to accept.

We need to start taking these bastards seriously. I am beginning to believe the worst case scenario could be on top of us so fast it will make our heads spin.
As the writer points out, it seems most of the pieces are already in place.

...it sums up the essence of progressive social psychology in one pithy phrase. Being "ready to kill your parents" means hating the past, rejecting historical continuity, forsaking emotional attachments to pre-revolutionary ideas and habits, and boldly asserting your discovery of the ultimate answer, which is that all human history prior to us, "the ones we've been waiting for," has been one big, racist, sexist, oppressive lie that deserves to be crushed, shot, torn apart, and mocked as it dies. Well written. The author is right in tracing this all back to the palmy days of the 60s (what the Europeans admiringly call the "Generation of '68") and also right in seeing that essentially, the Abbie Hoffmans and Bill Ayers of this world have already won without even needing to extinguish any of us (yet). The strategy used to be called "boring from within," IIRC. 50 years of boring have clearly paid off.

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward. ― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn

I expect I’ll “make the cut” from 25 to 10 million incorrigibles.
We came here from europe and elsewhere for freedom and opportunity; those who now want to stay that course are enemies of the state.
Go figure...
We didn’t change, something else did.

This article compliments this video eerily well. 2013 is going to be a rough ride much less 4 more years of this PoS. One note, I will not kneel or bow before any individual on this earth.

Same here. Skull tiki torches came to mind to get some good out of it all, but then I remembered how bad burnt bone smells.
