"It will be different this time," no matter how many times it has been tried and failed. Every communist must believe that he will do it right and his time is the right time. To a communist history, is meaningless, being false portrayals of the past promulgated by the ruling class to justify itself. Thus, to a communist, not only has it not been done correctly in the past, it may not have been attempted at all because the history of such events was written by self interested ruling classes to justify their own rule and thus is wholly false.

Same thing happened in Russia shortly after the Bolsheviks seized power. The communists sacked all the bourgeois people who ran the machinery and departments that kept the Russian large city's infrastructures going. The jobs were then handed to commie followers and flunkeys under the assumption that anyone could do those jobs.

The commies found out very quickly that party members were thoroughly unqualified to operate machinery or manage anything that required technical expertise. The commie leaders then had to give all those jobs back to the bourgeoisie who ran them previous to the revolution.

South Africa was once a proud member of the First World, but now is sliding into Second World status. I remember a decade or so ago being shocked when South Africans I met told me how their nation was going down the toilet. I thought those comments were a result of whites seeing what it is like not being the top dogs anymore. But I now I see what they meant. Socialism is destroying that country.
