Because in 2013 there's more facing the United States and the rest of the world than just the fiscal cliff and debt ceiling!
Although you wouldn't know it by watching and listening to the priorities of the Obama administration, or by the performance of our MIA Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who is apparently on the 21-day disabled list, there are some serious political, social and economic crises brewing both at home and around the globe for 2013.
These are links to articles concerning some of these potential flash points from a variety of different sources.

All Good Points.
I make note that the American Russian relationship is strained because of the weakness and “ Flexibility” of our current resident.Putin is taking advantage of Obama’s weakness.
Ging over the Dairy Cliff willbe hard on young families, but most will just not buy milk.
Going over the container Cliff is really stupid. President Reagan knew how to handle that. Put the army in there until the unions destroyed themselves or got smart.
Whta eill happen in Syria? God only knows but Obama started it , the same as he started Al Quaeda and Sharia law in Egypt.
Israel -Iran? Only the destruction of one or the other will stop that. My money is on Israel if the conflict does not catch fire in the Whole Middle East.
N. Korea another tough one especially since China is probably behind the whole thing.

Blogs make you see red, huh?
Even when a thread from a blog is posted following all the rules, some FreeperBeaters-—such as yourself-—just can’t help complaining.
