Sibley had subpoena from the National Archives the “Arrival Records” for August 1 through August 10, 1961, of all passengers arriving in Honolulu, Hawaii to see if records existed that Obama and his mother arrived in Hawaii during that time frame. What NARA produced were two microfilm spools of the arrival records for July 28 through August 1, 1961 and August 8 through August 12, 1961. As detailed in the Emergency Motion, the original date on the box of “August 7” has been altered by “white-out” and a new date of “August 1” had been written on the box. Proof of that alteration comes from a photograph of the same box taken nine months earlier which reveals the date was originally “August 7”. Razor blades were used to carefully scratch out old writing and write over. Surface of paper becomes a bit coarse vs. the rest around the scratch. Ink of correction gets a bit rough on edges.

Unless there were complications, it wouldn't be unduly hard on her. Plus, what's to say the day of birth is correct - might have given birth a week or so earlier than what is "officially" stated and had more time to recuperate.

Since we don’t know the actual birth date perhaps she did wait a week or two.. What we do know is that all records shown are suspect, altered or undisclosed/hidden.
I first brought up the microfilm copies of the birth records being one nearly unalterable record that needed to be checked almost 4 years ago... I still haven’t heard of anyone being allowed to view that reel...
This (arrival records) COULD be a distraction... If I was Obama I’d be planting red herrings everywhere.

When an error is made on official document? A bank will ask for (and expect), an initial, by the person changing the document. Why would a change to official records not show the bureaucrat’s initial and a note defining the reason for the change? Know what I mean?
I undderstand your caution. I too noticed the obviousness of the correction and wondered how Corsi concluded cover-up.

Here is one bit of information.
In 1961 the average length of stay in a hospital for maternity stays was 8 days. And that is a US average.
Drive through birthings were not yet in practice at all at that time.

The “official document” IMO on reflection, is the microfilm, not the label on the box containing the microfilm.
Corsi went national with his discovery that the microfilm in the box labeled through Aug 7 only went through Aug 1. The microfilm appeared to be CUT to remove the records on the dates when a certain baby might have been recorded entering the country.
Having been apprised by Corsi of the fact that the film in the box only went through Aug 1, a helpful clerk may have corrected the label by hand.
Certainly a properly brought action that would include discovery to investigate what happened to the CUT missing microfilm. I don’t think this legal action focusing on the box label is it. The Obama Admin. is the ultimate custodian of these records and Holder the ultimate prosecutor of any wrongdoing, so without a non-existent independent prosecutor (law has lapsed), not much hope.
In the third world the practice was more like: drop the kid in the field, wrap him up, continue hoeing.

Corsi viewed the reel at the link up-thread. The end of the reel with the dates from Aug 2 to Aug 7 was missing and appeared to have been cut. The next reel begins Aug 8.
Agree with what probably happened was a clerk changed the label to what was actually viewable on the reel. What should now be done is correct the film itself by going back to photograph the missing pages from the original records. Not that I'm holding my breath that'll ever be done and if it was done that it would be true.

SADO has NO documented connection to Indonesia or Indonesians at that time that I have seen.
SADO DID have a Kenyan husband and there is lots of circumstantial evidence of a Kenyan birth including Corsi’s claimed Kenyan government secret document revealing that birth records are MISSING from Coast Province General Hospital for the period surrounding Barry’s likely birth. The Kenyan gov’t record search was prompted by Bush’s ambassador to Kenya.
Between Feb 2, 1961 HI bigamous marriage vital record date and U of WA transcript confirming her in WA in Sept 1961 (and numerous witnesses saying late Aug 1961) SADO managed to travel thousands of miles across the Pacific ocean with or without baby Barry.
Still open most likely birth locations: Kenya, HI, WA, IMO.
