Well he is doing about the same. Tho the neonatologist did come in to talk to us this morning. We were told that despite the results not being back (2wks - 2 months) all the signs are pointing to Walker Warburg syndrome and that we should start thinking how much "treatment" to put him through before allowing nature to take its course. And the results of the genetic test are more to learn if it was a freak accident in his genetics or whether he got a gene from us. On the plus side if there can be a plus side, after he receives all the treatment that we want him to it is possible to have Keegan sent back to lincoln
Was just "chatting" with Grandma Iris, who seems to be holding up pretty well. Her daughter, (Keegan is one of her sons' child) lost a baby at 22 weeks gestation, who lived only 20 minutes. She also lost her Mother, and Mother-in-Law over the last 2-3 years. Tough, very tough.
Iris thanks you all again for your prayers. And I ask that you keep them coming, and include his family as well.
El Gato...I'm sorry. I'm praying for healing first off, then the wisdom of all involved to make the right decisions for this precious child.
Oh my. Prayers continue here for this lil one and his family and their friends.
I am so sorry. May God comfort and guide the parents and family in whatever decisions they have to make.
I join in urgent prayer for this baby and family as they deal with this troubling news.
El Gato, I am so very, very sorry. I know this isn’t the diagnosis that anyone wanted. I am going to refrain from giving any sort of advice simply because I haven’t been in this position and don’t know what to say. All I can do is pray and pray HARD. Whatever the decision your family makes will be made out of love and with God’s great guidance. That isn’t glib... In my own life if I don’t know what to do or if I am faced with something so overwhelming, I ask God to guide me to do what is best and for Him. I rely on him because I couldn’t rely on my own knowledge or experience. God Bless and hugs, Mom
