I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.
Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.
He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.
Over the next couple of days they plan to turn down the pressure of the vent and do blood gases to make sure he is tolerating it well. And if all is good he will go back to cpap.
He and will then have something in common, since I use a CPAP machine every night.
Hang in there little buddy.
Thanks for the update! Prayers continue...
!!!!!!Wonderful!!!!!!
so today's Doc call was good news for once. They said he might be off his breathing tube by the weekend! Oh, and one other little indignificant thing, test for WWS came back negative!!!!
The neonatologist just said that the test for WWS was negative and she would get ahold of the genetics team to see where they wanted to go from here. We are going up tomorrow so I'm sure we will get more info then.,
Dang screen is blurry again. A very joyful sort of blurry.
Praise God!!! So happy!!! Continuing prayers for the precious little guy!
Praise God! We keep praying and this kid is going to make it.
Praise G-d !!! Screen blurry here too...sending prayers Keegan’s way!
WoooHooooo.
Thank you everyone for your prayers. Thank you El Gato for keeping this list up to date.
You're welcome.
Havelockers stick together.

Excellent wonderful good news. So very pleased to see your post. Prayers continue.
Even more today:
So he is a couple ounces bigger and his head is a centimeter smaller. Not big changes, but after yesterday's news he looks like a whole new kid.
Prayers continue.
Keep 'em going up.
He sure is a fighter,Prayer,Prayers,Prayers. We prayed on the air for him Wednesday.
Thank you Jesus!
Go, Keegan, GO!!!
Prayers continue!
Wow! Thanks for filling me in. Never can get enough of good news. 8D
Prayers up.
Thank you fatima. The next post after this has more good news.
So as you all probably have noticed, he is wearing clothes now. They are starting to get him ready to move from his isolette to an actual crib. He is also off the breathing tube and on a cpap.
Just called his nurse and she said he has been doing really well with that so so far so good. He is down to 4lbs 15oz but that is good because he was, and still kinda is, retaining water and was all puffy so he is starting to get some of that off.
