Let me guess it might “offend” someone, unlike those part-tay down events with porn stars at the Playboy Mansion, that would never be seen in a negative light, nooooooo....

They would not be on my Christmas list, that is for sure.

Steven Nardizzi, the $319k/year Executive Director of Wounded Warrior Project
Would someone please explain to me why there's even a need for organizations like WWP? Isn't the VA supposed to take care of the vets' needs?
If something is missing, why isn't pressure being put on the VA to improve performance?

$319K salary - sounds like it is developing into a scam operation and the idiot tipped his hand. Makes me wonder exactly what % of the contributions REALLY makes it to the wounded vets.

Check out John Cody aka Bobby Thompson. "Thompson" set up a bogus Navy Veterans group and then absonded with $100 Million. This news story tells all with pictures of those he conned, George Bush, etc. ...

WIKIPEDIA: US NAVY VETS

The United States Navy Veterans Association (USNVA) was a tax-exempt Veterans Organization that claimed to have a national headquarters in Washington, D.C. It claimed that its purpose was to support the U.S. Navy, and to assist veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families.

The Association claimed to be a national organization with 43 U.S. chapters and over 66,000 members.

USNVA was the subject of recent investigative reporting, which resulted in criminal and administrative investigations in several states and the removal of its listing from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website. The organization's national headquarters in Washington DC proved to be a rented post office box, rather than an actual physical office location. USNVA operations have ceased and, after a two-year search, the leader, John Donald Cody, was arrested on April 30, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. Cody had run the organization under the alias "Bobby Thompson", and authorities were at first unable to determine his real name. However, on October 1, 2012, it was announced that Cody's identity had been determined using fingerprint records.

Liberals are attracted to executive positions in foundations and charities like magnets—You don’t have to be very smart, you don’t have to work too hard, and you get to play with other people’s money.

$319,000 paycheck for running what was supposed to be a non-profit. Seems the greedy bastard is profiting just fine on the backs of our soldiers, sailors, and airmen.

Only $19.00 a month and I can continue to laugh all the way to the bank.

When you run a general purpose charity, you never pass up the opportunity to hand out your card and tell people how to donate. As long as the audience is not participating in something illegal.

That is fund raising 101. I know people who spent a couple of hundred dollars per credit hour to learn that.

You owe me $100. Donate it to the charity of your choice.
