Papa John's CEO John Schnatter is going to cut his workers' hours, lay off workers, and increase the price of his pizzas by 11 to 14 cents. Why? Because the president was re-elected. More specifically, due to Obamacare. And he is not alone. Walmart is cutting hours, as is Denny's, and some other larger franchises like Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc.
As with the companies mentioned above, those on the right want to blame the president, Democrats, Obamacare, etc.yet they had layoffs or planned them as far back as 2009 and 2010. Were they all clairvoyant? Did they all know the president would be re-elected? And what if Mitt Romney had been elected? With more Democrats in the House and Senate, would the "repeal and replace" idea of Obamacare have succeeded? I think not.
What these companies and their owners are missing is personal responsibility.
As the owner of two small businesses, when times were tough, I took a paycutI did not reduce my employees' hours or their wages. How many zeros is in CEO John Schnatter's paycheck? Or that of the Walmart CEO? This is a company that even during the recession posted profits.
In California, the state I live in, businesses are required to pay for 50 percent of their employees' health benefits if the company has a group healthcare plan in place. This was long before Obamacare, long before the president was elected the first time around. And California's not aloneother states have similar things in place...

The fedguv has a stash in the Fed, but not an infinite one. There’s this little thing called hyperinflation.
A rare duck. Very hard to find a small business owner that supports Obama.
And all the leaders of this country can also, take a pay cut and when they are voted out of office get a real job and stop collecting a paycheck for doing nothing.
Bought 2 PJ pizzas this evening.
Try researching and thinking a little before you hit "Enter."
West Virginia's 2011 population was 1,855,364. California's 2012 population is 37,253,956, give or take. There are practically enough poor illegal Mexican aliens in my neighborhood to equal WV's entire population.
An intelligent person might study CA's problems to see how they developed and how they might be avoided across the rest of the nation. After all, we're supposed to be "One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." Maybe not.
I’m currently munching on a medium sized “Works” pizza from Papa John’s, much to the annoyance of the Left. They actually gave me a discount for my pizza (I’m not sure why and I didn’t question him, but I’m guessing they’re grateful for the business in lieu of the stupid boycott by the libs).

The writer of this article is a typical liberal Californian. Her recommendation is “redistribution of wealth” and her model is California. Both are losing propositions and should be ignored. If you don’t like the CEO, then don’t buy his pizza. Otherwise, keep your pie hole shut!
I think you meant “pizza pie hole” didn’t you? LOL
Maybe he should just shut down his business then what would the author say.

My boss stopped taking a salary 4 years ago living on savings. Then he got Social Security. As senior management I took 2 salary cuts. We left our employees alone except for no raises. We are still surviving but it is tight. How much longer? who knows? But we are trying.
“Couldn’t lead ants to a picnic”
I’m gonna use that one !
Apparently Papa John Schnatter isn't very good at math either.
It's also weird that Papa John's recent free pizza-giveaway, which cost his company about 3x more that Schnatter predicts Obamacare will cost him, didn't force him to cut hours and workers too.
He's just a sore-loser Romney supporter wanting to take his ball and go home.
Funny... no comment from the author regarding overpaid CEOs or on air “talent” after NBC laid off 500 people this week.

Libs always suggesting that CEOs take pay cuts. Evil oil, Walmart, etc. etc.
Let me get this correct, I bust my tail building a business (that obviously I didn't do by myself) so that I can make money. However if I make "to much" money I am evil, and should take a loss as to not upset the people.
No wonder I am not a liberal, this makes my head hurt.
