Bill Clinton is Melting Down All Over Again
frontpagemag.com/the-point ^ | Oct 21, 2012 | Daniel Greenfield

Bill Clinton is supposed to be the secret weapon in this race. The Oxford draft dodging grad who can appeal to working Americans because he has a Southern accent. The problem is that Bill also has a history of melting down during campaigns.

Clinton’s incredible campaigning abilities have been largely overstated. Clinton won two presidential elections against ridiculously weak Republican candidates who barely showed up. That’s also how he became Governor of Arkansas. He blew the 2008 primaries and now he’s beginning to melt down all over again.

“This shouldn’t be a race. The only reason it is, is because Americans are impatient on things not made before yesterday and they don’t understand why the economy is not totally hunky-dory again.”

Clinton’s gaffe is a natural one for an elitist liberal, but any serious campaigner knows better than to blame people who are out of work and struggling to feed their families for not being on board with your campaign. It’s a deadly and easily exploitable mistake.

Bill Clinton is channeling former ABC news anchor Peter Jennings’ response to the 1994 midterm elections where the American people turned on the Democratic Party.

“Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming. Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week.”

Clinton’s gaffe wasn’t as bad as Jennings’, but it’s a sign that he’s beginning to melt down. This was how it happened in South Carolina in 2008 when Clinton’s ego and competitiveness took the lead and he began speaking out without thinking about the political consequences. And now it’s happening again.

Clinton has made a fortune and it’s in poor taste for him to sneer at Americans for being too “impatient” for an economic recovery. People who are living from paycheck to paycheck have a right to demand results from their elected officials and they have a right to wonder why a government that runs trillion dollar deficits keeps sending them empty promises instead of a way out.

You are exactly right on clinton and perot, the “volunteers”
were set up. I too saw the joy exhibited by perot on election night because “he won”! It was done to destroy GHWBush and perot succeeded, the scum bag.

Not even his detractors will mention that he was impeached and disbarred.

Governor candidate, Jay Inslee (D-WA), is running an ad where Bubba says what a great guy Inslee is. It is the most weak, insincere (just pay me/get me a babe and I'll say anything...) ad any canidate is running.

Endorsements like this from Bubba can't be helping.

W. C. Fields-—that’s all I see when I look at this buffoon; listen to him speak and watch that big, bulbous nose of his; then, imagine him in that hat Fields always tipped.

You’ll never look at him the same way, again.

Clinton won with much less than 50% both times. He got his buddy Ross Perot to run interference for him and had Ross declined, Bill would’ve lost. He is a scumbag, liar, socialist, womanizer, thief, rapist, not to mention LIAR (can I say that again?). That he holds any credibility is because Americans have short memories and little real sense of what is real in politics and what is not.

Here’s a sample of what it sounds like.

Days before he would nominate Barack Obama for re-election, a new report claims that in 2008, former President Bill Clinton said of him: “A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags.”

Clinton allegedly made the racially insensitive remark to Sen. Ted Kennedy as he tried to convince the liberal lion to endorse his wife, Hillary, Obama’s rival for the Democratic nomination, according to The New Yorker.

Agree!

Klintoon knows how to undercut nobama, who has a big payback coming for the 2008 Primary. Klintoon is also pretending to be a “good dem” by forgiving nobama and being on the team. Right! But its shaping the dem battleground for 2016 in hitlery’s favor.

HILLARY STILL PLANS ON RUNNING...

I'm gonna start calling this Hillophobia or something. It's getting that ridiculous. Hillary Clinton isn't just 'over the hill'. She's already 'over the hills and far away'. People who were born in the year she moved into the White House, are now 20 years old and voting.

Hillary looks older and more beat up than the city of Detroit. In another four years, she's going to look and feel like she's ninety. Do you honestly believe that the most shallow and superficial people on earth are really going to get behind a doddering old has-been in 2016?

Come on, now. Look at this face, and try to convince yourself that they will.

You'd think that with millions of dollars at his disposal, Slick would get that simian proboscis of his fixed. Damn, that thing is ugly.

And that's one of the better ones, seriously.
The question is, who will they run in 2016, I could see Barry taking another stab at it.

You're reading my mind. I almost posted that same thought. Barry is nothing, if not an abject narcissist. I can easily see him mounting another challenge in 2016. He'll only be 54, and if his records are still under lock and key, he could definitely try it.

Looking at the Democrats' bench, you've got to ask yourself, who else do they have?

Thing is, though, the country is liable to be fairing a whole lot better in 2016 than it is in 2012, so what would Barry's reason for running be? By that time, history will have shown that his term was one of the bleakest economic periods in US history, and we'll still be paying for his experiments in Socialism. It will be a near impossible task for him to convince anyone to give him a second shot at the White House, under those dynamics.

Think about this...

Clinton was disbarred from practicing law in Arkansas for lying under oath.

He also paid a $25,000.00 fine there, this was all over the Lewinsky incident

He also paid a $850,000.00 settlement over the Lewinsky incident.

He was also disbarred from practicing law in front of the Supreme Court. So Bill Clinton, a disbarred lawyer, a President who was impeached for lying under oath, asks the American people to believe him when he says the best thing for our country is 4 more years of Obama.

So who are you gonna trust?

Apparently, the 18-19% that voted for Perot did not want Bush to win either. Maybe Bush should have addressed their concerns and he might have won?

I agree with you. Hillary is not going to run. She actually looks like my grandmother did when she died at 95.
