Urgent prayer request for FReeper METMOM.
Metmom was admitted to the hospital this past Tuesday with serious complications from what started out as a minor, out-patient procedure. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors treating her to find the root cause of the problem, a good response to the medications and a full recovery. Pray for her family, as well, for their peace and strength as they trust in the Lord to heal their beloved wife and mother.
My thoughts turned to you when I awoke today. YIPPY!! Today is Tuesday! Welcome Home! God is good ALL the time!

I talked to her again this evening and she is feeling much better. They did not have to do the chest tubes, PRAISE THE LORD! The doctor thinks the fluid around her lungs will dissipate on its own. She is still having a lot of fluid draining from the incision site and residual pain from it and the excess fluid retention on her whole left side. Still on massive antibiotics and may be released this weekend. Hopefully, she will be able to go home soon and take the time she needs to recover fully.
Please continue to pray for her full return to health. She has been feeling down - who could blame her - so please lift her up to the Lord for encouragement, strength and comfort. Thank you all so much for your faithfulness.

Metmom is still in the hospital and the doctors have determined that she DOES have an MRSA infection and it has been what has caused all her problems. MRSA is a very dangerous and serious staph infection that can be difficult to treat. She has been placed on an MRSA-specific antibiotic and we are praying that she responds well to it. Her chronic mast cell condition could cause a reaction that would jeopardize her tolerance of the drug. We pray that does not happen and that this clears up the infection and she can be sent home soon.
Metmom expressed a deep appreciation for all your prayers and good wishes. Please keep her in your prayers as she is not out of the woods yet. Thanks!
