While Obama supporters (and even some hand-wringing members of the conservative elite) fell over each other last night to proclaim the death of the Romney campaign in the wake of an undercover video of a private fundraiser, Dennis Miller stands with those who liked what they saw. A lot. These 53-percenters are behind the idea of a campaign spot 100 percent.

He didn’t back off of the comment. Don’t get me wrong, he really couldn’t back off after he said this to a lot of BIG money donors.

I’m no fan of Romney, but what he said was true. Let the MSM squeal all they want. It’s pretty amusing.

Maybe if he gets caught off “script” more often, he’ll pick up a few people that take a second look at him.

You know, when I listened to the vid, I was prepared to have a “facepalm moment” — but instead it sounded to me like Romney finally grew a pair! His voice sounded firm and confident, not this namby-pamby thing he does so much. And he was RIGHT about what he was saying. That 47% WILL vote for Obama come hell or high water, so there’s no point in Romney going after them. He was a little inpolitic in his characterization of that 47% ... but he was correct in what he said. He should “own” his words, not try to disown them.

It should be a shock to 80% of Americans who had no idea/didn't believe 47% of income earners pay no income tax.

Many of them, including democrats, are flabbergasted.

He should wait about a week when the media furor on it dies down, and then start running ads with the “leak” snippets in it. Because the lib media would have conniption, and starting talking all the time about the gall of Romney to run the ads. So it would get all the more free publicity.
