Clint Eastwood has defiantly defended his colourful speech at last months Republican National Convention - saying that he has got to the age where he can do what he wants.
During interviews to promote his movie, Trouble with the Curve, the Oscar winning director and actor was totally un-repentent about the rambling speech during which he spoke to an imaginary version of President Obama sitting in a chair.
'One advantage of being my age is that you know, what can they do to ya?' said Eastwood. 'You just have fun and do what you think and then you can say what you think, you don't have to edit yourself.'

At 15 I set my heart on learning;
At 30 I firmly took my stand;
At 40 I had no delusions;
At 50 I knew the Mandate of Heaven;
At 60 my ear was attuned;
At 70 I followed my hearts desire without overstepping the boundaries of right.
Confusius
I’m sure he has been instantly blacklisted by the hollywoodies, he will be lucky if he ever gets work again. He won’t even be allowed to make an adult diaper commercial.
A gritty gut wrenching indictment of Obambi policies in 2 mins and 39 seconds
and Clint is SO freaked out by that, right ?
He has had his own production company for decades. He could give a flip.

In my opinion the speech wasn’t the disaster some made it out to be nor was it the twelve minutes of game changing brilliance others thought it was. I don’t think it will have the slightest impact on the election.
Dayum. At 70 years old he’s STILL the coolest guy in the room.
HERE IS MY PROFILE..
Well my dear girls, I am happy as an authentic has-been.. I'm not the man I once was, more or less, thank heavens.... After a lifetime serving a high profile public persona, I am peaceful in the privacy of my home, quietly spending time with my beautiful family and close friends..
I honestly can't imagine anyone finding anything worthwhile in what is left of me..
I love being old, and a bit lazy, and can't seem to shake the tingling feelings of excitement in the presence of a sensual woman, only I am having trouble remembering why ;)
I mentioned MORE OR LESS, well there is a lot MORE of me now (I'm recovering from a serious operation and gained a lot of weight, but came through it and regaining my fighting spirit), and I have LESS hair.. I have a great life with dozens of kids around me, which is all I ever wanted.. I've had a great many titles in my life, but Dad, and Grandpa, are the only ones that I'm truly proud of..
I've been married twice, to wonderful women, that I am closer to now that I am retired, than when I was married.. In the divorces, they got the money, and I got the kids, both times.. I won, and loved being a single Italian dad of 5 kids.. So if I were you.. I'd move on to much better prospects..
About the one I'm looking for...
Hmmmmm.. Nearsighted would be good, and just a touch of dementia wouldn't hurt either, so she wouldn't remember if I told that story before or not.. Gullible never hurts, when I feign a sore back when something breaks, but nonjudgmental is even better if I screw up a coq au vin.. Absolutely hates participating in triathlons, but loves football as a spectator..
A great conversationalist is a true blessing, except during the 3rd act of La Traviata, or a Willie Nelson concert.. Loves children is a must, BUT, is unpregnantable.. Is that a word?.. (BLUSH).. A woman that either looks like Shakira, or hates her music..(eyes roll) etc.. Chef Carlo
I'd just like to add...
If I were a reasonable woman, I would want to find a gentleman, with at least the ability to hike, play tennis, golf, jump up on a raised bed, or at least carry you across the threshold on a wedding night.. RIGHT?... I got a hernia opening my LAPTOP!.. Financially secure... Hahahahhahah.. I suggest you change your luck and hit on my ex wives, or our divorce lawyers... You've heard the myth, about Italian lovers.. (gulp).. it really is a myth... See where I'm going with this?
OLT (one last thing..DUH!)I welcome flirts, and other innocuous messages, it feeds my otherwise, deflated ego.. OABTW (Oh, and by the way)I love photos, and non photo notes, that I probably won't answer anyway. BUT, I might answer if you are an especially Hot chic, because down deep, I'm really shallow..
Blacklisted?? Me thinks not...People are dependent on Clint for THEIR jobs....Clint is dependent on no one.

“When I was 21, it was a very good year. It was a very good year for city girls who lived up the stairs”
I still have the recipe for the delicious homemade spaghetti sauce you kindly sent me. I’m not a Hot Chick (and never wanted to be one) but ISSO (I’m so sick of) the watery, fake spaghetti sauce served as a low-calorie dish. There are almost no calories in spaghetti sauce, they’re in the spaghetti and meat balls, and people think they’ll lose weight eating watery sauce. What that sauce really does is SMF (save money for) the restaurant and cheat the customer out of a real spaghetti dinner.
Kit, thanks for your reasonable approach to dieting with calorie counting.. Pasta sauce is low, very low, in calories.. Everything in the sauce is actually very good for you.. Tomatoes, garlic, herbs, are all beneficial, and most importantly, Delicious and so satisfying..
Life is too short to live that life constantly sacrificing.. It should be known that dieting can be more dangerous than eating good healthy food in moderation, and sensible exercise..
Good humor AND a great chef! Sounds fine to me!
ahahahah -
I guess you don't know much about Clint. He never was part of the 'hollywoodies' - He went his own way - made his money and mark with the 'Spaghetti Westerns' = lived a good distance from Hollywood, in a small town where he has garnered much respect and admisration for much that he has done that never made the news (on purpose), formed his own company, chooses his own projects, produces/directs most of his films.
Hollywood didn't make him, never had any control over him - and can't break him.
He's always been bigger'n Hollywood and it's phony sycophants.
umm - he's 82 - but yeah, sitll the coolest guy in the room
He's 82? Dayum - that just reinforces my point.
