I have seen several mentions on this site in the last few days that the Romney campaign has staffers who actively sift through this and other sites for ideas they can use. So I say, why make it hard for them? Let's post our best ideas here and let 'em have at it.
Let the fun begin!
Constantly play Obama say “if I can’t do it in 3 years it will be a 1 term proposition”. It has that Read My Lips quality that can sink the commie
Attack and don’t look back.
Tell him he can have your tax records when he gives us his college records, and his Social scurity card records.
Sto farting around and get nasty.
Take Carters 80’s dem convention speech and as he is making a point similar to Obama in his convention speech have them superimposed the heads. Rush had the comparisons on his show Friday..
Run ads showing boards making decisions on whether or not you can have that surgery or that treatment.
People have forgotten how bad Obamacare is, remind them! Show lines to get into doctors, delays in surgery for cancer, etc.
Labels work. Biden and Obama were rated the 2 most liberal Senators in the Senate before they were elected in 2008. Why not call Obama a liberal over and over until it sinks in. Avoid the talk of whether he is a nice guy or not or that he is a socialist or not or that he is a muslim or not or that he is a Kenyan or not.The media is only going to run interference for him.He is a liberal period and as such represents only a small constituency of our society. This is a center right country. The liberal label does not sell well. Ask Mike Yes I admit I am a liberal Dukakis.
Announce a Clint Eastwood Appreciation (You’ve Got to Let Him Go) day............Everyone tries to see his new movie “Trouble with the Curve” on the day it opens, or at least buys a ticket. Let the box office receipts tell the story the media is trying to suppress.
I would play Obama telling that woman her elderly mother is “too old” for life saving surgery and should be given a “pain pill” instead.
You can do a lot with Obama’s preposterous statements in which he plays doctor and makes stuff up your family’s medical treatment.
RUN OBAMA, RUN! (please place on front bumper)
How about a series of headlines “Bush expands TSA power to seize property”, “Bush installing facial recognition technology” etc... with narration...then redline “Bush” replacing with “Obama”....
“How’s that hope and change workin’ for ya?”
They were all so worried about Bush assuming too much power under Homeland Security...Obama is a tyrant
.
The Democrats told us at their convention they believe:
“Government Is The Only Thing We All Belong To”
Romney and Ryan believe:
The Government Belongs To Us

I’ll start. It seems to me that one of the most effective weapons against a stuffed shirt like Obama is ridicule. Clint Eastwood’s now-famous “Empty Chair” speech at the GOP convention was not only funny, it spawned its own meme.
I’d like to see the Romney campaign or their surrogates reach out to the swing-voters using humor. Mind you, it can’t be “mean” humor (anything the pundits can point at and yelp, “Racist!” or “Mean-spirited!”). It has to be amusing, to the point, and very hip and cool. I think Obama should be portrayed as yesterday’s news, and just about as “cool” as your old hipster dad who insists on having a beer with the young guys.
Our guys will never be invited on SNL (which is pretty dated, anyway) and if they were, they shouldn’t go because they’ll become the butt of the joke. But Ryan, who seems to have a sense of humor and is younger, “cooler,” and better looking than Obama, should seek out and accept invitations to Jon Stewart’s “Daily Show” and Stephen Colbert’s show. (Especially Colbert, since he has more of a sense of fair play than Stewart.) Ryan can present the Republican case with a smile and without becoming ruffled, and has a quick enough wit to banter with the hosts. A single appearance on these shows might inspire a lot of swing voters to say, “Hey, that Ryan guy is pretty funny! And I couldn’t see his tail and horns anywhere. Hm, maybe it’s okay to vote Republican this year?”
Another good venue to present humor is on YouTube. Some slick and very funny short spots on YouTube could catch fire go viral. The meme is: “Republicans cool; Obama old news. Fire the guy who can’t do the job!” Again, these YouTube presentations should not be mean-spirited or even close to it, as that will backfire. Romney campaign: Call up funny guys like Ron White, Dennis Miller, Jeff Foxworthy, and get them working with you!
When “the emperor has no clothes!” becomes obvious to everyone, it’s easy to dethrone that emperor. We need to use humor to make it obvious.
I’ve always loved the quote from Neal Boortz:
“If you hate the rich so much, then go get a job from a poor person.”
Yes, ...And then at the end, use the Eastwood line - ....if someone can’t do the job, you have to let ‘em go.
