I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a Reichstag Fire, false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these dayswhat with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimistI hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired inbut I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it maythe main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the Dark Side. I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

“How does the United States of America win with another term for Mr. Obama, unrestrained and free to do his worst?”
Great point and where I disagree with you. The difference between hussein and willard is that with hussein, you at least have some level of restraint to his hard left policies in what I assume is a gop House and perhaps Senate. Not a great amount of restraint or perhaps even what we could characterize as competent restraint, but it exists at some level.
With willard though, there would be no legislative restraint imposed on his soft left leanings. The House and Senate would be throwing themselves prostrate to make sure they “supported the President.”
So in 4 or 8 years of successfully implemented soft left policies, are you really in any different of a place than you would be otherwise?
threads is over, INVAR wins the prize...
Mine too .. and it absolutely is.
That is the thing. Unless a elected Romney gets really lucky and the world economy suddenly recovers boosting the US’s to a real recovery he will be crucified for failing to deliver his single promise, the economy and jobs.
And given his campaign rhetoric, split country and the (pathetic) Republican history leading up to Obama (2008) , voters will be much less patient with Romney than they were with Obama. It could get really ugly, and you know how MR will respond.
But maybe Romney will get that heart attack after taking office as someone suggested, lets all pray LOL
This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.
The tea party backs him, including Palin, Rush, Levin, Rubio, ect.... Paul Ryan is a darling of the tea party, and he's his running mate.
That is EXACTLY what Romney and the Ruling Class Establishment DID on Tuesday of the RNC. It makes no difference at this point if Romney is elected or Obama remains - the GOPe and Romney ensured that grassroots Conservatives and the TEA Party will forever be an irrelevant force and player in national politics with the rules changes they made at Boehner's gavel in complete disregard of vocal opposition.
Which makes all this brow-beating by Romney operatives to intimidate anyone not supporting Romney as a 'traitor' deserving of death more than ridiculous considering what their political savior has already done to Conservatives.

Obama the capitalism-hating, liberty-hating, America-hating, godless Marxist/communist must be completely destroyed politically!! To allow him another term in the presidency would be to allow the total destruction of America.
As much as I detest what the Republican party has become, there is no other party on this earth that can come anywhere close to accomplishing what must be accomplished to keep America from spiraling down a Marxist/communist toilet.”
That contradicts your original argument. You were citing Stuxnet as proof that Obama isn't intent on destroying this country. He used it and leaked the intel for the sole purpose of boosting his terrible poll numbers. He's already said he intends on transforming this nation, and considering that he is a radical leftist, any thinking conservative knows what that means.
I dont know why so many people turned nutters when Romney’s name was mentioned. The guy isn’t my pick either, but the intensity of the hatred shocked me, especially with Obama as prez.
Get off your high horse, would you please. Even Sarah Palin wasn't conservative enough to be POTUS according to you.
You have to look who was loyal to Romney during the primary to tell which side he will take : McCain, Grahamnesty, Christie, Rove, and other NE Republicans. They despise the Tea party and any conservative Republicans and only talk to them when they need them, election year.
During the election he needs them, but after getting into office the Tea party will be a hindrance to what Romney wants to do.
Unfortunately the conservative movement completely dies with Romney, and we are screwed with Obama. No happy ending.
Obama Must Be Defeated!..
but i thought that if i didnt vote for mittens, then conservatism would live on in principle ???
Very simple. Tea party protests ended when Boehner took the House,
Romney gets the WH and we have been there before, 2007.
Its not pretty either way.
As much as I detest what the Republican party has become, there is no other party on this earth that can come anywhere close to accomplishing what must be accomplished to keep America from spiraling down a Marxist/communist toilet.
With all proper and due respect to JimRob, my conscience and faith comes before family and country - and I believe he would agree.
That said, anyone who honestly believes that destroying a Cook County machine politician like Obama by working within the nationally erected Cook County corruption machine - is not considering where we have arrived.
We have to be thinking past November, not placing all our faith and hope in an election. That's what is bass ackwards to begin with. We have Obama precisely because we put faith in men and elections and government first, and put God somewhere down the list in our once-a-week box.
Destroying Obama or stopping what he has done, doesn't happen by electing Romney. It's bigger and deeper than that. Obama (and Romney's record) is simply a reflection of our depraved culture and where this people, morally have gone. Electing Romney is not going to turn our culture around or stop what the Ruling Class oligarchs have achieved over us.
That's reality. We get the leaders we deserve, and violating our principles and consciences to vote for expedience out of fear of Obama is an abandonment of our faith first and foremost - and our conservatives principles that identify us.
Don’t pretend that you’re supporting Palin. You’re supporting the most liberal pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, gun-banning lying socialist governor in the history of the republic.
Obama must be defeated..You vote however you wish.
I love my country too much to enable Obama’s reelection.
More to the point, does Obama and the Rat party?
Thats who youre helping elect.
I plan to, and it won’t be for Romney.
I love my God and His Ways and Laws more than I do what is politically expedient for my physical station. I view it as sin to vote for either Romney or Obama. Their records show them to be in opposition to what defines righteousness, liberty and life.
God before country.
Principles before men.
