Seizing on the opportunity offered by the Dem's last minute decision to move Obama's acceptance speech indoors Thursday night, Donald Trump, various Tea Party groups, and other conservative organizations quickly announced that they had rented the now-suddenly-available Bank of America stadium for a rally Thursday evening, and expected to fill the stadium to capacity.
Arrangements are still being finalized, but reliable sources have said that Clint Eastwood, Hank Williams Jr, and Ted Nugent would headline the show.
He did not get the latest memo that added “ weather “ as the latest racist code word.
I hope someone with the funding to sponsor a rally at the Bank of America Stadium reads your post. You came up with an absolutely brilliant idea.
Sounds like a DNC hoax . Why hasn’t any news source picked up this story . Even Rush Limbaugh ,, who monitors Free Republic daily has avoided this rumor .
Betn darn few were getting on the busses, dnc knew this was going to be a PR disaster . Fallback position, BLAME IT ON THE WEATHER.
Even so, someone could organize and hand out those little paper umbrellas that come on beverages to the attendees. Those should be large enough to protect from the slight chance of rain. I liked the umbrella idea.

Any update on this? Smells like a hoax because its too good to be true.
In fact, downtown Charlotte is so locked down with all the security that I can’t see them allowing another group to setup a show in the stadium at the last minute like this. Especially one that could easily draw thousands.

Every now and again, you get an opportunity to place your lever against a fulcrum that will move the entire nation. The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth was one such opportunity. The Tea Party Rallies from 2009/2010 were another.
A huge rally on Thursday night would be just this kind of event. It could trigger the preference cascade and Barack Obama would never recover.
Ask Sarah to speak, and they will need to have monitors in the parking lot for the overflow....

Massive storm squall on radar now from SE KY to NE near Charlotte and moving S-SE. It will break up once the temps drop and the sun goes down.
Slow enough that I doubt it reforms on Thursday and by the night will be very scattered if not gone.
