US, UK, French Elite Units on Standby in Israel

US C130 transports stand ready at Middle East air bases to fly into Syria US elite units especially trained in combat against chemical and biological weapons and tactics for securing their arsenals. Western intelligence sources reported Thursday, Aug. 23 that those units are on standby at bases in Israel and Jordan. Their assignments are to engage Syrian troops attempting to move those unconventional weapons systems to battle fronts or Hizballah and to prevent them falling into the hands of radical Islamic rebel fighters, especially Al Qaeda.

Those elite units have been issued with special equipment for chemical and biological warfare including anti-contamination suits. The transports are also fitted with purification equipment for operating in polluted terrain.

These plans followed President Barack Obama's warning Monday, Aug. 20 that "we cannot have a situation where chemical or biological weapons are falling into the hands of the wrong people." He announced, "We have put together a range of contingency plans."

Also on standby for stealthy raids into Syria are British special operations forces in Cyprus and French units trained in unconventional warfare in Jordan. Thursday morning, President Obama talked by phone to British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande to wrap up the details of their combined operation in Syria, effectively the onset of direct Western intervention in the Syrian conflict.

They might as well hit Iran while they are at it too since we already spent money for rendezvous in the ME.

Not just Syria - Iran is a much more troublesome and pernicious threat than Syria, which after all, will pretty much keep the fighting contained within its own borders.

Not that such a containment wouldn’t have tremendous collateral damage, there is no way to turn that aside. Syria stands to be as devastated as Lebanon was following the effort to kick out the PLO from 1982 onward. But the expulsion of the PLO only left room for the Hezbollah to move into what had essentially become a vacuum, as the Christian regime that was in charge was too weakened and devastated to effectively continue resistance.

Lebanon today is a rubble heap. Syria promises to become the same.

Better a rubble heap filled with divided factions then united under an Islamist regime.

Much more than that is happening. Those of you who want to continue getting cheap oil without conflicts, hush. Let men do their duty. There won’t be a world without wars. Even Europe wants a kind of stability (for oil production) and wars to enforce it. And like it or not, contrary to popular propaganda, Asian wealth and consumption are growing quickly. More oil is needed to continue the flow of gifts from our communist uncles there and elsewhere. Facts of life.

There were rumors that once the Olympics were over, NATO was going to implement their invasion of Syria battle plan. Why after the Olympics ? The UK Euro Weenies have such a small military that their main capital asset ships were stuck in London protecting the games. Now that the games are over, they can be deployed to the eastern Med and the invasion of Syria can begin. Onward to the new Sunni Caliphate !

Now all we need to kick off this invasion is a false flag Assad chemical weapons attack. Should be occurring any day now.

Syria does produce oil, but quite a few other nations, including oil producing nations, have other strong concerns about the Syria. Some are concerned about which faction will dominate and control more in the Middle East, for one. Iran wants it all.

So the current Progressively Fascist Plan is to safeguard our oil supplies by fighting a war against Iran's most important ally.

For starters, the Iranians have already stated that they will consider a war against Syria, as a war against them. So any attack on Syria by NATO will give Iran the green light to attempt a closure of the Straits of Hormuz.

Thus, attacking Syria will hurt our oil supplies. It will also tie up many of our military assets in an area that has no major oil export.

Iran is the one that should be attacked head on. Not Syria. The only reason we are about to invade Syria, is because the House of Saud and the Muslim Brotherhood control Western Governments.

The Middle East is a three way war. The Israelis against the Sunni's against the Shiites. The western nations support the Sunni. The eastern nations support the Shia.

The reason the Sunni's want Syria invaded is because it hurts the Shiites and complicates the Israel situation.

IMHO, the issue with the Syrian WMD-Chemical will not be them having them. Nor will it be their using them against Syrians and others.

The real issue will occur when these weapons are chemically analyzed. Then, when it become obvious that these WMD- Chemical were originally Iraqi stocks what will various Democratic Congress critters say?

To save their own skins most Syrian military officers will more than glad to provide documentation as to when, where, and how these WMD-Chemical came into their possession.

But, will the liberal/progressive/socialist/dimocrats issue any statements saying that Bush didn't lie? Yes they will, right after las Vegas becomes ocean front property.

Yes, especially certain European governments in the case of Syria.
