At Last Standing Up To Those Who Do Mudslinging

Could we be REALLY SEEING a much stronger Mitt Romney emerge to take on the mudslinging that is coming from the President Barack Hussein Obama re-election team?

Yesterday GOP/Republican 2012 United States of America frontrunner Mitt Romney hits very strong and hard President Obama on the issue of the personal attacks that are coming from the President Obama’s White House and the Democrats. He was very much right in calling out President Obama and the attacks by making it very clear that what President Obama is doing is a sign of a very angry and desperate man.

“Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago“, Mr. Romney had said while doing campaigning stops in Ohio. Mr. Romney not only sent the message direct to President Obama, but to all who are working on his re-election campaign, which include any super pacs. This includes the super pace which put out that very disgusting political tv and internet ad about a man who lost his wife to cancer with an effort to blame Mr. Romney for both her cancer and her death. What was so wrong with this very down and dirty political ad is that not only it was false but also it uses a man in this time of sorrow over the passing of his wife to attack a candidate running for political office.

Romney needs to demand that the economy be brought up in the debates. It is one of the most important subjects of our time. If the moderators don’t bring it up, he needs to ask Obama what he is going to do about the economy and demand an answer before going on to another subject.

Imagine...conservatives all over the country standing up and calling out all the left wing liars out! I for one am doing things like: For starters..go to Wikipedia and wiki Romney and Ryan (and any others under attack by the left). Check the sources of the info about their politics etc. Call them out! NOW! Report what you find!

Now Romney is a racist.

Maybe Romney should hire me on to fire back at the attacks on him.

It should not be about ‘mudslinging’ and protecting
Romney. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT PROJECTING LOUDLY
CONSERVATIVE VALUES against ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE,
Death Panels, DNC corruption, the absence of justice
in America under Obama, and the lack of Constitutional
principles by Obama and the Congress and the Courts.

If mittens grows a spine, and takes the fight to the liberals, he might actuallty earn some respect (and votes) from conservatives. Bringing Ryan on board was a good step, so tell romney to take the gloves off, and take it to the next level, he has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Oh, and set Ryan loose like a junkyard dog on liberals, he has the conservative creds to back him up.

Any resistance to Obama is more than he expects, especially after having run against McCain the last time. McCain couldn’t have been more accommodating to little Barry. McCain wanted to win a PR contest with the media, now the Obamamedia. McCain lost. But now, Romney wants to win the presidency. So, Obama is back to his dirty tricks, which is all he has, and that ain’t nothing, considering he has his Obamamedia backing him up. Obama knows his media is worth a billion dollars in campaign advertising. How dare this Romney fellow to stand up against all that. Come November, he is going to be saying, “How dare Romney win.” ...The stretch between November and January is going to be interesting.

When President Bush tried to make the presidency about issues, the Democrats, the Liberal-Progressive Press and the Liberal-Progressive Congress made it about hate and lies. President Bush lost the initiative, and the press made a heyday out of the situation.

So ride forth into the the battle, Mr. Romney. Swing that machairan and let them fall where they may.

It would probably look bad if he tried to ask Obama a direct question in a debate that wasn’t structured to allow direct questions between the two debaters, but he should definitely ask the moderator, around the time of question #3... (time for a push-back)... why aren’t we talking about what everybody outside the msm is worried about???

BTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

____________

Romney is THE sorriest “Warrior” Presidential Candidate that I have ever seen!

His voice goes down when he makes a strong point, he smiles when Obama flings mud in his face, he dwells on soft, touchy-feely nuances, never delivers a RED MEAT speech to the Conservative Base, never gives a soaring rhetoric and inspirational speech that we can remember during the campaign, has no inspiring sound-bites for the sound bite Media of today, has a 59 point plan when most people can only grasp 3 points, has no ‘Joe the Plumber’ on his staff of speech writers, etc., etc., etc.

If the Republicans want a sissy to lead them into combat with the no-rules, hardened, street-fighter commies from Chicago, well, they have their GOP-Elite endorsed, sissy, pretty-boy in Romney.

“Take it back to Chicago” is an insult to Chicago! “Put it where the Sun don’t shine.” fits the situation better, (pun intended).

With the possible exception of choosing Ryan to be his veep, Romney is doing everything in his sorry power to lose to Obama by at least 10 % in November!

Where is the outrage, fury and passion in Romney that matches us out here in Fly Over Country?

Small wonder then that there is NO grass-roots surge of support for Romney going into the Convention!

We have suffered the lack of leadership from the RINOs long enough! We will not tolerate a wimp RINO like Romney losing to Obama, like McCain did in 2008! Do NOT be surprised if Lame-Brained McCain is booed in Tampa.

What evidence does Romney exhibit that he can inspire us to believe that he will fight the gooey mass of Obamanation laws and regulations that has thrown The US Federal Government onto the Wrong Track of European Socialism?

Choosing Ryan was a good start, but Romney has to pull his weight NOW! Tick-Tock!

Where is the Leader that we will follow into the Gates of Hell?

It certainly is NOT Keep-the-Mittens-on Mitt!

If Romney cannot ‘give as good as he gets,’ then he needs to resign and let Ryan be the Republican Nominee for 2012!

If Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan were alive and healthy today what would each of them tell Romney?

To Romney: Are you a Warrior or a Wimp? Tick-Tock.

Here is a video from a man greatly respected in Evangelical ranks, Ravi Zacharias. Beginning at about minute five and following, he explains the current dilemma in having Obama and Romney as one of which will be the next president. You might find it instructional:

McCain didn't want to win a PR contest, he wanted to be liked by the media, the libs, the hollyweirds and the foreign commies. That's all he's ever wanted. He thought he would get that by getting down on his knees and licking the soles of Obama's shoes, and they did pet him on the head, but they don't really like him.

"...when you're choosing between leaders, none of whom will give you the groundswell of the Christian faith on which [your] life is built...you have to go for a person who will help a nation provide the best moral soil on which the freedom to believe and disbelieve can actually function. It is on a moral soil that the freedom to believe actually works best, and Truth can ultimately triumph.

If you have an immoral soil created, then the Truth is evicted, and you're not even given the opportunity of voicing your ideas in the marketplace and in the public setting and in the arena.

The Christian faith ought to have a voice in the marketplace, it ought to have a voice in the academy, it ought to have a voice in politics, it ought to have a voice in business. And any leader that'll create the moral soil to make it possible for us to continue to proclaim that, that's the kind of leader we may have to ultimately work, no matter what tag they put on them on the outside.

If you're choosing between those for whom the Christ is not supreme in salvation, you have to choose one who will give you the best moral soil in order to allow you to live in Christ, and live out your faith. [quoted from around 5:35 forward in the teleplay]

I couldn't agree with Zacharias more.

And that definitely leaves Obama out of the picture: He is totally amoral. Worse, he's vicious towards all who disagree with him. He could care less about "good moral soil" in which religious freedom can flourish. "Life in Christ" is just a silly superstition to him. He hates Christianity because he knows that it is the foundation of the traditional America that he is deliberately trying to destroy.

Romney is theologically beyond the pale in the view of many Christians; but he has always conducted himself as a moral, upright person, certainly not one inclined to evict the views of Christians from the marketplace of ideas, or otherwise to punish them for what they believe.

Politics is the art of the possible: You have to do the best you can under the REAL CONDITIONS.

A man who by his own admissions and boasts supported legalized abortion and government sanctioned, taxpayer funded infanticide for over 30 years of his adult life and still supports the homosexual agenda even today was and is neither Christian or moral.

Indeed. Nobody's perfect. My main concern is to vote as God leads because the U.S. problems all stem from spiritual deafness.

Thank you for sharing your insights, dearest sister in Christ!

no, some of us who hate Obama hate Romney as much and wont be voting for Romney, either.

That's a quote of a reply to the video at the link you provided. And if I'm not mistaken, that is your position as well.

But at the end of the day, all this gets you is four more years of Obama.

Virgil Goode does not have a snowball's chance in Hell of becoming President of the United States. So what does that leave you with: Armed insurrection?

Such a thing would be very short-lived. Obama would take a "fly-swatter" to it in no time. No sweat!

As for the teleplay at the link, IMHO it is a bunch of cherry-picked quotes without regard to any deeper context in support of iron-clad preconceived notions.

You could cherry-pick quotes from me made over the past 30 years and "prove" that betty boop is the most despicable person who ever drew breath here on Earth.

I mean, if that was your intention, I'm sure you could do it.

As if I am reducible to statements I have made in the past, and am so defined by them that I can never change my mind about things, that growing knowledge and experience over time — not to mention a Christian conversion along the way — count for nothing.

I almost never rely on a person's verbal statements as a means of discerning his character. I look at his deeds.

Even on that score, Romney isn't perfect — I truly deplore his decision not to raise the riot act against the Supreme Judicial Court when it (unconstitutionally) instituted gay marriage here in Massachusetts. If the man has a fault, it seems to me it is a reluctance to disturb the public peace, or too much willingness to reach out to the other side in order to make an accommodation "to get things done." [But with Paul Ryan on the ticket, I believe Romney gains a much clearer, disciplined ideological focus.]

Massachusetts is a very strange, ideologically disordered place, and has been for many decades. Romney could neither cure this situation, nor even get elected here, without acknowledging what are, in fact, the majoritarian views of the Commonwealth.

On the other hand, I look at his deeds, his accomplishments private and public. He is a staunch family man, raising five sons with a loving wife of some 40 years; he killed the massive corruption that had infested the Salt Lake City Olympic games, turning the games into a source of great American pride; he has a stellar business record, and a reputation for scrupulous honesty in all his business dealings. In public life, he balanced the Massachusetts budget without raising taxes. As far as the RKBA is concerned, under Romney, my Class A License to Carry (a high-capacity firearm) was upgraded from a "Sporting" restriction to "All Lawful Purposes." If anything, that meant to me that the State was recognizing that the RBKA is NOT restricted to sporting purposes, but acknowledges (for the first time in my life) that I actually have a RIGHT to self-defense, not just a right to go down to the shooting range, or go hunting.

I guess we're just going to have to agree to disagree, Jim. I hope we may continue to do that in a civil, good-faith manner.

Thank you so much for your observations.
