Scummy anti-Romney-Ryan talking points Obamabots will be repeating until election day.
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) August 12, 2012
In choosing radical Congressman Paul Ryan as his vice-presidential running mate, Mitt Romney chose to double-down on his corporate agenda to enrich the top 1% at the expense of working families, according to the president of one of the largest labor unions in North America.
William P. Hite, General President of the 340,000-member United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters, Sprinkler Fitters and Service Technicians (UA), warned that Ryan would happily shred the social fabric of our nation without a second thought.
Paul Ryan was the architect of the infamous Path to Prosperity, a budget plan which sought to abolish Medicare in favor of a voucher system, drastically cut Social Security benefits for seniors, raise the retirement age and gut healthcare for families in needall while calling for tax cuts for millionaires but raising taxes on the middle class, he said.
We think its time for a more thorough explanation from Congressman Ryan on these and other issues. He needs to explain to the American people why he wants to wage war on the middle class and the disadvantaged among us, Hite added.

Yes, he would shred it by increasing the size of government. Every year.
Ryan's budget proposal of 20 March 2012 would actually reduce the size of the federal government to 20% of GDP in 2015 and 18% or 19% after that.
Old man Hite is speaking for himself as head of a union and NOT for the plumbers, pipe fitters and sprinkler fitters - I know TOO many of them and know they don't think like Hite.
Actually it was clinton who took pride in his shredding the social fabric of our nation.
Impossible. Libs already did that. One could argue there’s hardly anything left to shred.
Correction. ‘Ryan would shred Socialism of this nation.’
The only social fabric this asshat knows of is the net used to trap freedom and entrepreneurship. Shred that and I’ll be eternally grateful.
Ryan is pro growth.
He is for pro growth economic policies.
As for the size of government, it is already written in law to explode. It’s called entitlements, and it’s called demographic reality.
To say that Ryan plans to grow the government is a gross, deliberate distortion. Nobody can be that dense, accidentally.
His plan slows the growth of government and increases economic growth.
You end up with a more affordable government taking a much smaller percentage of GDP.
The reason for gradualism is to keep the promises made to those who built their lives around them and are now in, or approaching, their twilight years.
Changes would come for younger people.
It’s a no-brainer, but will be lied about and demonized by the hard Left.
Some “conservatives” will distort it beyond recognition, too.
Pity.
Oh, dear - a Marxist/Collectivist dislikes and disapproves of Ryan; Romney must have picked a good one.
And who calculates “GDP”?
The size of the government has to equal taxation + debt. Period.
Then I would put forth the case that the Unions,
raped, sodomized, pissed on, then went for a "union authorized" brake
to this nation and every "real working person"(some of which are the rank & file of the Unions minus the officials).
F'en thug, punka$$ union carbon unit.
V/R...
Just sayin
These union people just don’t get it. If they re-elect that 0bama, there will be NO work. What part of that do they do not get?
The tide is turning, the days of big labor are waning. We’ve seen it in New Jersey, wisconsin and in other states who realize that concessions are what is turning deficits into surpluses. Union leaders understand this, their gravytrain days are over and they are desparate t maintain that. This is their last gasp.
Yes, because the tearing apart of the social fabric as a result of the unbridled growth of government, the welfare state and runaway unemployment are so much more preferable.
If the criticism comes from a union leader, we’re doing the right thing.
Upon reading the headline I thought it was the Manchester Union Leader dissing the Ryan pick.
Lowlife leaders of trade unions have about as much influence, excepting their gargantuan contributions to socialist candidates, as a pimple on a private’s ass.
Union Leader Says Ryan Would Shred The Social Fabric Of Our Nation
As opposed to Obama forcing homosexuals on the military, homosexual marriage on society, forcing Christians to pay for abortions and saddling our children and grand children with 16 TRILLION dollars of debt?????
And by social fabric he means unionized bulling.
You can calculate it yourself if you want. The formula is private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports − imports).
The size of the government has to equal taxation + debt. Period.
The size of government should be measured by how much it taxes and how much it spends as a share of the nation's economy. In FY 2012 federal revenue was 15.82% of GDP and spending was 24.33% of GDP. Ryan's plan would bring the current spending of 24% of GDP down to 18-19% of GDP after 2015. Tax revenue has always stayed in the range of 15-20% of GDP over the past 70 years so the deficit would be significantly reduced.
Shredding the Social side of this nation is being done by the Homosexuals and their agenda.
Shredding the costs of Government is something that has to be done or we won’t have a country.
I would love to add some salt to the eye solution for the left on this, here is what Ryan should do...
Get together with Sarah Palin, get right alongside her at the next Tea Party event, get her close to him for cause and effect, with her as an “aide” the left will become totally unglued.
