TSA is now conducting random check points at bus stations, (and ON random buses), as well as on freeways in Tennessee and elsewhere. PolitiJim’s Facebook page has steadily been document the encroachment of the growing police state where even city and county cops, think they have authority to arrest you for documenting their activities or even just exhibiting free speech.

Hat tip to EconomicPolicyJournal who shared this video today of a US citizen who knows his rights and isn’t putting up with it anymore. Just an everyday citizen who will resist TSA and Federal government tyranny over his constitutional rights.

There maybe another video similar to this one that is from California, but

this is what he says in the description to this video:

“Published on Aug 4, 2012 by tracesofrealitytv

Inspired by the video by Pastor Steven Anderson ( http://youtu.be/fDCXzqgD99o ), I’ve decided to no longer comply with warrantless, unconstitutional checkpoints. The video begins with a view of the DHS checkpoint on the way back down South IH-35.

My hometown of Laredo, TX, the “Gateway City” (or CheckPoint City) is surrounded on all sides by Homeland Security and CBP checkpoints, all approximately 30-40 miles from the border, in America. “

Thanks, there are two vids. The link: 'VIDEO and article: Watch Everyday Citizens Resist TSA and Federal Tyranny' Video at the bottom of the link.

This is the one that inspired the Tx vid. Tempe pastor going to San Diego. That's the one I got when I clicked, I apologize for the confusion. The AZ pastor's vid that inspired the TX duo is indeed on I-8.

Efen amazing that even here, on the FR, we have people who would defend the brownshirts who are interfering with a citizen’s right to travel freely WITHIN the borders of this country.

If during a routine stop for some other matter, there is a SUSPICION that someone is illegal fine but thanks to those who will bend over every time the government says “security” we will not have security nor freedom.

If you want to keep MOST of the illegal criminal trespassers out, shut off the damned government magnets like health care, housing, food etc. Nooooooooooooooooooo, thanks to all the people so damned willing to give up ALL our rights so we do not infringe on those who do not belong here we are becoming inmates in our own country.

Hell even upchuck Schummer is trying to make it difficult for people who have had their fill of this crap to leave the country. Remember when we used to make fun of the failed soviet system when they had to build walls to keep their citizens in? This is what we are becoming and all too many are helping this unconstitutional government.

I remember growing up they told us that in the Soviet Union they had checkpoints everywhere so you were not free to move around at will. These checkpoints are clearly unconsitutional, but as George Bush said, it (the Constitution) is just a piece of paper.

Sad to see them in the our once free country now. But all freedom is fleeting and must be regained through blood at times. I think the next one will be happening sooner than later.

Help me understand the context of this video.

It looks as if the guy pulled through a highly secure area, such as a border crossing.

This doesn’t look like some innocuous location at all.

If he is at a border crossing the TSA and other Gubmint agencies are within their realm of authority and performing their job as I would expect.

Their badging says “US Border Patrol” and by all looks it appears this numbnut is at a border crossing. You can tell because as he pulls into immigration on the American Side.

You can tell it’s the American side because on the East side of the road you can can see the American Entry and Flag Poles with well.....American Flags.

This is a hard structure and would have taken years to build.

He passes by at least two cameras that record his vehicle passing to the security booth.

He says “This is American Still?” with the context being he is on the American Side not in the context of traveling down America’s roads from Sea to Shinning Sea.

He would be asked the same question if he were returning to the US on the East road the travels North and marks the demarcation between Mexico and the USA.

The BP Agent Agrees with the dissenter, who at this point I’m thinking is just some delusional, self important, synthetic, Do-Gooder and then informs that is not true at an “Immigration Check Point”.

This is the same question you are asked when leaving and entering the US and other countries.

Doofus says “It’s a matter principle for me” to which the Agent responds “It’s a matter of law for us and we have a duty to uphold our law”.

Guy and his oh so passive buddy passenger are Asshats and Jack Assess. Pretty tough to achieve that status.

No, it is an immigration CP. BP manned looking for smugglers etc.

This is a hard structure and would have taken years to build.

Not at all, and they are all over the southern US bordering on Mexico, up 50 miles away from the border.

He says “This is American Still?” with the context being he is on the American Side not in the context of traveling down America’s roads from Sea to Shinning Sea.

Well I-35 is generally N-S.

This is the same question you are asked when leaving and entering the US and other countries.

True, but you are already way inside the US.

And I have it! I will say, “Yes, sir. Here you are. I’m glad you guys are doing this, it’s a thankless job but you are defending our country from the hordes to the south. God bless you!”

Well, word has it that he needs the hits to pay for both meth and Scientology.

Those are common blogpimp problems.

It’s one thing to get pulled over by a cop and them trying anything and everything to nail you but this is an immigration issue.

I disagree about it being an immigration issue; it seems to me to be a further conditioning of the average citizen to submit to "government authority" -- I do not say this lightly, but if it were an immigration issue then how could this be an equitable application under the laws wen there are a multitude of other (indeed, more tangible) immigration-issue laws which are not being enforced. Arizona v. United States is itself proof that the federal government is not actually enforcing immigration laws.

All he had to do is say “yes, sir” and be on his way. I’m GLAD they are doing those checks!

And all the officers needed was a warrant, despite what the courts say the 4th Amendment is clear -- no unwarranted searches. Period. In fact the "probable cause" is not a mitigating factor in the warrant-requirement; it is the sworn reason the officer presents to the court to obtain a warrant.

Is Does this seem like a convoluted/troublesome system -- You bet, it was set up this way to keep government officers in check, it's not supposed to be easy-peasy to search someone or their possessions.

The thing that kind of bugs me about this is that he wasn’t really “standing up” to anything. He stopped long enough for them to determine that he wasn’t an illegal whether or not he specifically answered the question. They had all the evidence they needed after he sat there for 5 minutes arguing with them. If he wanted to make a REAL statement he wouldn’t have stopped. He just would have rolled through and continued on his way.
