Tom Hoefling: "I will shut down every abortion facility in the country"
Tom Hoefling for President 2012 ^ | June 11, 2012 | Tom Hoefling

Posted on 06/11/2012 9:17:17 AM PDT by EternalVigilance

"All officers of government in this country, in every branch, at every level, have as the first obligation of their sacred oath the protection of all innocent lives within their jurisdiction.

Should I be elected to the office of President of the United States, I will keep my oath.

Justice Blackmun, in Roe vs. Wade, admitted that “of course” the child in the womb is protected by the Fourteenth Amendment, if they are a person.

Since it is self-evident that they are a person, my first act as President, after having sworn the oath, will be to publish a presidential finding to that effect.

My second act will be to ask for the resignation of anyone in the executive branch who will not act accordingly.

My third act will be to order the closing of every abortion facility in the country, as per the explicit, imperative requirement of the Supreme Law of the Land.

'No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.'

'No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.'”

Well it means that the military can’t be used for law enforcement means at all.

No, actually it doesn't.

You are just a two bit fascist wanna be.

For being determined to provide equal protection for innocent human life, as the Constitution requires? That's "fascist"? LOL...no wonder we haven't been able to stop the killing.

What next you want the Federal Government to control in what we view the on the internet?? How we practice religion? What else you will have the Federal Government do for us??

Stupid straw men, not worth any more than the time it took me to type this sentence.

Dear driftdiver,

I don’t like folks misrepresenting the record of Ronald Reagan.

Good night.

When a State Executive signs a bill it makes it law. If he doesn’t sign then its not law. So he musta wanted the bill to become law.

hmmmm yes indeed that is fairly simple.

You have no idea of the primitive state of the abortion debate and awareness in 1967.

The primary issue though is your lie that Reagan was pro-abortion, you have him signing a bill at the beginning of his first time in elective office, now aside from that you need real evidence to show that he was pro-abortion.

Where are his pro-abortion articles, pro-abortion speeches, pro-abortion political activism, Romney has volumes, Reagan has zero.

He signed the bill into law.

Even Reagan wasn’t perfect. But continue your worship.

Dear driftdiver,

In equaling the pro-abortion “support” of Ronald Reagan to the full-throated, long-time support of a general license for abortion by Mitt Romney, you misrepresent the truth.

You also commit a logical fallacy, equivocation.

I’m surprised that you would rely on such an error. I didn’t expect that from you.

Equaling = equating

Sometimes I hate the spellcheck on my phone.

Troll? Here is a post about trolls.

Please post a link to the Reagan video where he campaigned on the culture of death platform:

Until you can provide the evidence, I’ll thank you not to sully the Reagan reputation in a vain attempt to bolster an abortionist candidate.

Driftdiver considers Reagan pro-abortion based on the same rationale that we might consider driftdiver as pro-Romney. Driftdiver must "worship" (hat tip to dd's post to sitetest) Romney then, as he thinks sitetest worships Reagan.

If driftdiver is consistent, he therefore must delcare himself totally supportive of Romney's pro-global warming, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda, pro state-run health care, and pro activist liberal judges because it is documented that Romney advanced all five of those issues when he was governor, and driftdiver wants everyone here to vote FOR Romney.

If Reagan was "pro abortion" because of signing that bill, then Romney is absolutely driftdiver's candidate, his man, his guy.

But somehow I think that what's good for the goose would not be so good for the gander. Driftdiver would probaly take it as an insult when people inform him that Romney is his candidate.

Dear driftdiver,

You’ve made an error any 8th grade debate team member would have avoided.

If you aren’t intelligent enough to understand your error, then your misrepresentation is unwitting.

If you DO understand your error, then it is you who are the liar.

At first I thought my charge of you being a liar was too strong. You are doing it intentionally to distract from the fact you were trying to misrepresent Reagans record.

Shame on you

Did I post to you? no I guess you’d prefer to have willing victims who won’t defend themselves.

Or a President who’d use the military to enforce his version of the ‘law’.

Dear driftdiver,

Lol! Is that all you got? They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I guess I should be flattered.

But you really need to do a much better job than that.

First things first. Go look up “equivocation,” and then try to apply it to your assertion that Mr. Reagan was pro-abort like Mr. Romney.

Once you do that, come back and explain your error.

I’m a little relieved to find that you’re more stupid than evil.

After all, stupid people can still go to heaven.
