Tom Hoefling: "I will shut down every abortion facility in the country"
Tom Hoefling for President 2012 ^ | June 11, 2012 | Tom Hoefling

Posted on 06/11/2012 9:17:17 AM PDT by EternalVigilance

"All officers of government in this country, in every branch, at every level, have as the first obligation of their sacred oath the protection of all innocent lives within their jurisdiction.

Should I be elected to the office of President of the United States, I will keep my oath.

Justice Blackmun, in Roe vs. Wade, admitted that “of course” the child in the womb is protected by the Fourteenth Amendment, if they are a person.

Since it is self-evident that they are a person, my first act as President, after having sworn the oath, will be to publish a presidential finding to that effect.

My second act will be to ask for the resignation of anyone in the executive branch who will not act accordingly.

My third act will be to order the closing of every abortion facility in the country, as per the explicit, imperative requirement of the Supreme Law of the Land.

'No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.'

'No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.'”

Personally I think you have every right to cast a third party vote for President. I have myself, several times, and I may do so this year.

But in doing so, I will not succumb to the fantasy that neither Romney nor Obama will be the next President.

Over the last year, I have seen some truly delusional comments on FR...."Sarah Palin would get 99% of the vote"...."Newt Gingrich can be elected as a write in candidate"....and now, some arcane combination of forces will cause "Romney to fail to get the GOP nomination". This is kool-aid drinking at industrial strength.

Abortion is legal. yes thats a travesty but its the law.

No, it's not. That's not possible, abortion being as it is a violation of God's law, the natural law, the principles of our nation's charter - which is the first part of the organic law of the United States - the Declaration of Independence, every stated purpose of the United States Constitution, and that Constitution's explicit, imperative requirements as spelled out in two separate amendments.

So Tom wants to be a dictator. The United States Supreme Court is an equal to the President of the United states. Just as Congress is equal. To want to ignore another branch of government is not a conservative value.

Wrong. The president has a sworn obligation to enforce the law in every respect. He must give due regard to every legitimate law that is duly passed by the only branch empowered constitutionally to make the laws, the legislative branch.

And an equal obligation to provide the appropriate check and balance on officers of other branches who ignore and/or destroy the Constitution.

Check this out..

ansel12 says this.
>>You are on a thread pushing Mitt Romney, and denying that you are doing it, that is just psycho.<<

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

Dear driftdiver,

Gov. Reagan was never pro-abortion. He signed legislation permitting women to petition boards of physicians at hospitals to receive therapeutic abortions in cases where continued pregnancy would “gravely impair the physical or mental health of the mother,” and for rape or incest. He believed that such boards of physicians would discern between true medical emergencies and other cases.

The legislation was abused to permit near-abortion on demand. That hadn't been his intention when he signed the bill, and he regretted signing the bill when he saw how it was abused.

The fact is, there aren't many “pro-lifers” today who would be much less pro-abortion than what was ostensibly allowed under this law.

Even so, Gov. Reagan agonized for a long time before signing the legislation - he was hardly all gung-ho about it. Here's an excerpt from wiki about it:

“Reagan had been in office for only four months when he signed the bill, and stated that had he been more experienced as governor, it would not have been signed. After he recognized what he called the ‘consequences’ of the bill, he announced that he was pro-life.[10] He maintained that position later in his political career, writing extensively about abortion.[11]”

It is a travesty and a falsehood to say that even at this point that Gov. Reagan “support[ed] abortion.”

So a conservative wouldn’t say “Good Lord”, but he will lie and try to tell people that Reagan was pro-abortion, try to get people to vote for Mitt Romney, and refuse to have his post 51 removed for foul cussing, and doesn’t even know about one the great conservative victories that took place in 2010, or Romney man Santorum’s radical pro-abortion, anti-Reagan history?

I have no idea what Mitt will do ...

Well, since you're ready to vote for the guy, don't you think you ought to make a serious attempt at predicting what he would do?

Between someone who wants to decapitate all we love and stand for, and a seriously flawed progressive RINO squish, there's no contest. Our country can't handle four more years of the former.

To call Romney a "seriously flawed progressive RINO squish" is the understatement of someone who hasn't much pondered the real meaning and implications of Romney's record -- sounds to me like you DO have some illusions about Romney. And to declare that this country couldn't survive four more years of Obama, is the equivalent of a pup rolling over on his back and piddling all over the floor: totally submissive.

I believe that an empowered Congress and victorious conservatives who saw Romney's brand of "Republican" soundly trounced -- could dominate and beat-down Obama for the scarecrow he is, and if Obama was elected on a plurality where two thirds of Americans voted against him, he'd be emotionally and politically devastated. But you are so frightened that you will NOT even consider that.

Sadly you are wrong, which is why millions of babies are murdered every year. Abortion is legal. A woman can obtain a taxpayer funded abortion in every state of this great country. Heck if she’s underage her parents don’t even need to know about it in most places.

We have a balance of powers, no branch is superior to any other. If you don’t support that then you don’t support our Republic.

So you will illegally use the military to close down things you don’t like? Despite rulings from the USSC and current law. You call yourself a conservative?

Just what exactly do you think the military is for if it isn't to protect the lives of the American people and to defend the Constitution?

Yep, you know you lose the argument when you answer the question, so you do anything not to deal with it.

LOLing won't get you by that fact.

That didn’t make sense, you are on a thread promoting Romney, your posting history shows that you are indeed a romneybot, yet on this very thread you keep denying that you are posting what you are posting.

That is as weird as it gets, the Romneys have a history with Saul Alinsky but it doesn’t explain your dishonesty at this level.

“No, it’s not. That’s not possible, abortion being as it is a violation of God’s law,”

You seem to be confused between what is moral and what is lawful.

So, said another way, you disagree with the statement that 0bama ...

is the most pro-death, pro-abortion, pro-Marxist, pro-muzzie, anti-free enterprise, anti-American, anti-free enterprise, destructive and divisive administration ever?

no branch is superior to any other.

Then reconsider your position, because I believe your position is based upon a theory that the president is required to defer to the Supreme Court when it comes to interpreting the Constitution (i.e., that the Supreme Court's opinion is "superior" to the opinion of the president), even when the language of the Constitution clearly protects life.

Abortion is legal.

Show us that part of the Constitution that grants legislative authority to the courts, please.

I know the man's record, I don't care for it. I know Bambi's record and it's terrifying knowing what he will do if we let him have four more years, you can pretend its okay, but it's not, you can pretend he's going to be controllable, but it's clear from his record he is not. The choice is that simple, allow known evil to fester and win, or vote them out.

I didn't understate who Romney is at all, but you are overstating his equivalence with the most evil administration ever. That's just an ignorant statement.
