I couldnt believe my ears when I heard Mitt Romney repudiate a Super PAC message that hadnt even been produced yet. It was a jolt of deja vu, harkening back to the bleak political tapestry created by the entrenched Republican beltway establishment. Weve seen this entire story played out time after time, where the supposed champions of constitutional governance have been rolled over by the DeMarxists, simply because the agents of freedom have utterly failed to stand for the very principles they espouse.
John McCains candidacy was a joke to anyone who followed politics closely. What I saw in John McCain was the reincarnation of the hapless Bob Dole good old boy presidential run. This next-in-line mentality of the beltway establishment has utterly failed the Republican Party and the American people. Had it not been for the introduction of Sarah Palin to the national political scene, McCain would have suffered one of the greatest defeats in party history.
Sarah has also experienced some of the worst savaging of any political figure in living memory. The unintended consequence of which has been that she has become one of the most potent weapons against the depredations of the left that the patriot movement has. No single political figure in America today can generate the excitement that Sarah Palin can. She is a spear aimed straight at the heart of socio-communism in this country. Thats why they still savage her at every opportunity. They fear her every bit as much as they fear the spectacular rise of the Patriot Movement.
The left has always depended on the politics of personal destruction. The bottom line here is that the country is ready, far more than ready, for conservative governance. We have the momentum, weve the principles and the right on our side. My question here is does Mitt Romney? Romney and his Super PACs had no problem whatsoever savaging each of his conservative Republican opponents in turn. So much so, that it led some of us to wonder whose side Romney was really on.
I wrote that he was going to have to work very hard to band-aid, in order to save the so-called Reagan coalition which his attacks had splintered. Hes not going to defeat Obama with his advisers feeding him, and the nation, with milquetoast platitudes. He has to attack Obama for what he is a totally incompetent Marxist hack.
Theres a lot of concern out here about Romneys upcoming vice-presidential pick. The rumble among the establishment types is that Romney will pick Ohio Senator Rob Portman. Hes been called the GOPs most boring white guy. Now, Im not here to run down Portman. He is a conservative Republican. But he will not excite the base. Nationally, hes a virtual unknown. We do not need another vanilla candidate in an election cycle that promises to be a real gunfight.
Romney had better be prepared for that gunfight, and hes not going to do it by repudiating attacks against the most vicious political infighter in American politics. Romney, get some you know grow a pair, get some testicular fortitude. And while youre at it, fire your McCain advisers.

Very well stated!
Republicans vs. Democrats: Maybe A Dime's Worth Of Difference
~ Larry Elder, "The Ten Things You Can't Say In America"
Cowardly Romney depends upon his Legion of Backstabbers.
Unfortunately, they only target women, children,
and conservatives.
This is the typical response for a GOP-e. Moderate Republicans (read appeasers) think that they can work with Democrats; that we have to be reasonable; that we have to reach across the aisle; that we’re, after all, all Americans, aren’t we?
There is some truth into the belief that reasonable people can have disagreements and resolve them successfully.
But we aren’t dealing with reasonable people here; we are dealing with our enemy. There is no ‘decorum’ with them - when they don’t get their way, they pull out every 2 year-old brat temper tantrum in their arsenal of lies.
We aren’t going to reason with these people. They are not real Americans - they are predators who are sucking the life’s blood from this country in their lust for power and control. We must defeat them as natural born enemies and we must trounce them into the electoral ground - soundly!
Either we do this at the ballot box (whilst whipping our ball-less candidates and representatives to toe the line), or we will eventually be doing this in the streets.
This was what I feared in a RINORomney candidacy.
Fight like hell for the nomination............
......but wanna play nice with the poor (?) black guy.
Wee Willie Mitty is only brave when hes up against women...
He had no trouble beating up on Gov Sarah Palin...
Maybe the DNC will do him a favor and run Sec of State Hillary Clinton instead of Obama...
Then we’ll get to see the “warrior” Willie dashing FORWARD !!!
if its only at the back of the army...
Very good article
Kinda funny that Mitt claimed to have no control when his superpacs were trashing conservative candidates but he didn’t waste any time telling them to back off on Rev. Wright.
After reading this, elsewhere, I sent Romney an email saying basically: I sent you money but no more since you appear committed to losing like McCain and Dole before you.
Found a copy of the email I saved. Here it is:
“Dear Mitt,
I have given you money and was going to give you more and possibly work for your campaign locally. I have decided to do no more to help your campaign. You are going to lose. I will not support a candidate who is not serious about winning. I will vote for you but that’s it. You are listening to the same timid, frightened strategists who influenced Bob Dole’s losing campaign and John McCain’s losing campaign. They will lose for you too. You admit that Obama’s campaign will be based on character assassination yet state you plan to take the supposed “high road” and base your campaign on the economy. Why? It’s not like character assassination would be hard with Obama, he has no character. His upbringing by Communists and his voluntary and preferred association with Communists throughout his life should be fair game. His past is more a mystery than any other President in history. Who vetted him and how he was vetted should be a matter of national interest. It appears that every document Obama has produced to substantiate his past is false. I’m not a birther by any means but it appears Obama has gone to extreme lengths to hide much of his past. These are all valid topics to be raised in your campaign. The economy is a large issue and important to all Americans but it isn’t going to be enough. Obama sycophants in the media and academia will tell the public the economy is not Obama’s fault and his policys have prevented a bad situation from being worse. When your statements on the economy have been discredited and your proposed future policys ridiculed you will have nothing left. Were you paying attention in 2008? Your whole history, your business associates, your friend’s and family’s histories are all going to be put under intense and hostile scrutiny by the mainstream media en masse. Any slightly derogatory information they turn up will be immediately seized upon by Democrat super PACs and incorporated into ads designed to damage and discredit you. It’s not too late, Obama is vulnerable. If you insist on taking the supposed “high road” you will be private citizen Mitt Romney after the election. If you didn’t plan on winning then why did you even run?”
No answer from Team Romney yet.
