Statistics show a deep divide in opinions along racial lines regarding the killing of a black Florida teenager, Trayvon Martin, by George Zimmerman, who is of mixed ethnicity, white and Hispanic.
Zimmerman has claimed self-defense, invoking the Sunshine States Stand Your Ground law which has also come under intense scrutiny in the wake of the incident.
Reuters news service reported last week, 91% of blacks believe Martin was unjustly killed, while only 35% of whites concurred. Hispanics were in between at 59% according to polling numbers Reuters gathered by querying nearly 2,000 Americans.
The disparity of views over Martins death is even less ambiguous than another racially charged case, the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Significantly nonexistent afterwards was rioting, looting and burning of businesses, or attacks on hapless victims. After all, a black man had received justice, so-called.
Not so when the jury in the trial of police officers involved in the beating of defiant motorist Rodney King in Los Angeles failed to elicit the verdicts minorities were clamoring for.
In the days following that trial, blacks and Hispanics took to the streets of the L.A. basin killing, burning, rampaging, and robbing, feeling they had been denied justice...

Completely agree. I’ve been stocking up on ammo most of my life, but got REALLY ambitious when obama got elected. But I do fail to understand why a small minority (13%-?) would choose to antagonize a HEAVILY armed majority that can recognize them so readily....
Have your guns loaded. I am sick of being threatened.
No injustice no peace?
I didn't know there was a Great Wall of LA.
sounds like a threat....I lived through the 60’s same stuff happened....its just watch your back time...
Based on what? All the evidence says this was self-defense and everything out of Benjamin Crumps mouth has been lies.
...GET A ROPE....
Ah, well, that’s what tear gas, batons and rubber bullets are for.
Now its important for America to vote the communist out, before he destroys the greatest nation in history.
Enough with the guilt complex."

>Never let a crisis (or a made up one) go to waste: Eric Holder<
FYI - I think Rahm Emanuel made this statement, not Eric Holder.
Meanwhile, Remington Arms added a third shift at their Lonoke factory.
Man I hate $&#^ing Mongorians!
What do they want?
The trial goes well ‘for them’ and they riot, a la OJ
The trial goes poorly ‘for them’ and they riot because they didn’t get what they want.
How many men, families and futures were destroyed in the Civil War?
How much has the ‘War on Poverty’ cost?
How many Blacks have been promoted over Whites, gotten scholarships over Whites, gotten jobs over Whites, not been fired because they are Black, yadda yadda yadda.
How many freebies from the government have they/do they get?
How many bought houses on NiNJA loans?
On and on and on.
They commit crimes they are not prosecuted for. They kill each other over ridiculous things. They think they are owed.....for what exactly?
In the present economic environment, the angry Black man or the Black woman neck thing, yelling, is BS.
How much money do they think they need from us? Do we see any Black nations or celebrities doling out funds to the American poor? Do Whites have traditional White colleges?
Blacks think violence solves something.
Well, all righty then.
Absolute Horse Hillery!
Any chance they can find to loot hard working Americans.
One final point: what does it say of Blacks that they advocate for insurrection if they do not get their ‘street justice’?
I understand vendetta very well.
Knights learned to be polite on the road and to practice civility so that they wouldn’t try to kill each other all the time.
virtually all Hispanics are mixed.
Oh, right. Thanks.
Isn’t Rahm the one that looks like Howard on the old Andy Griffith show? Dead ringer if I recall.
