President Obama has become an expert at making phony claims and exploiting bogus issues. On the energy front, who can forget his claim that wed have no need for new oil production or exploration if we simply kept our tires properly inflated and got regular tune-ups? Now its fuel made from algae, a technology that is, at best, decades away and will probably be just as cost-ineffective as ethanol. The presidents phony issue du jour is the Republican Partys alleged war on women.
The issues roots were planted at the Jan. 7 Republican primary debate in New Hampshire. ABC News' George Stephanopoulos hammered Mitt Romney in an odd three-and-a-half-minute exchange about the constitutionality of states banning contraception. Romney eventually said he couldnt understand why any state would ever want to ban contraception: Contraception? Its working just fine! Just leave it alone! Apart from the comic relief Romney gave the proceedings, this left debate observers scratching their heads and asking one another, What was that all about? It didnt take long to find out.

The Republicans have a terrific message: freedom. But they really suck at selling it to the public.

The GOP needs to stop fighting Obama’s wars on his turf.

The question is will he win it by enough. Gore, Kerry and Dukakis all won the women's vote. And they all lost the general because they also lost the men's vote by a larger margin. Just winning the women's vote is not enough. Obama has to win it in such a way that he doesn't exacerbate his already dismal showing among men. And his current strategy isn't doing that.
In 2008 Obama won 56% of the women's vote. Even according to a poll of Registered voters conducted by the Democrat friendly New York Times he is only winning 53% of the women's vote.

True, but nobama’s War on Women game isn’t playing as well as the MSM and libs wish. The closer we get down to November, the clearer this will all be.
Even though it was Dick Morris, he is right about nobama unable and unwilling to defend his record instead trying to divert until election. Even if its to Mitt, nobama is going down BIG TIME. Dead give away are the donations, big money is turning its back on the kenyan and they know who to place their bets on.

No question. Although I’m not a Romney fan, the thing no one is saying is that she raised the five boys while she was dealing with MS - an admirable lady.

Absolutely. Obama is also losing his Jewish voters (finally), and so long as he continues with his current Middle East non-policy, his support here should continue to tank. His organization and projected war chest really concern me, though.

Obama is down with every demographic group. They may spin that he is still winning Hispanics, but he is no place close to the 67% he won in 2008. Likewise he isn't getting the 62% of Asians he got in 2008.
Even the black and youth votes are not as sure as they once were. Sure he will still get 90+% of the black vote but it is likely that the turnout will be closer to the 11% normally encountered rather than the 15% he got in 2008. Likewise with 50% unemployment and under employment the 18-29 vote isn't real happy with Obama. We will still lose the young sculls of mush, but it will be closer to the 54/45 that Kerry got than the 2008 totals of 66/32. Also a lot more are going to stay in their mommy's basement this year.

IMHO, enough women will see that he is trying to manipulate them (which women really hate). Hispanics may just notice Mr. Zimmermans treatment more than they will admit to the MSM.

Stephanopolous has a history of running propaganda for the reds, even called into Larry King masquerading as a regular voter when GHWB was on, meantime he was working for the Bubba Klintoon campaign.
GWHB called him out, recognized his voice.
Now this degenerate comsymp SOB is working for ABC and also working as a propagandist for the democrats.
A serious POTUS candidate would call for him to be fired.
