How can an amendment be unconstitutional? Unless, as some say, it was never properly passed, in which case it IS unconstitional but ISN'T an amendment.
Well, at least if they want to tell the truth. This guy's a lib so all that would be extraneous effort.

You are mistaken. "Stand Your Ground" also incorporates protections from civil prosecution, or even arrest, if the responding police officer finds no reason to believe the use of deadly force was legitimate.
That's how I knew from day one the media was lying.
The fact that Zimmerman was NOT arrested immediately means the cop responding concluded the shoot was justified, regardless of the circumstances.
You're conflating the nickname of the law with its actual intent...that being you have the right to defend yourself with deadly force anywhere it is legal for you to be.
And that's the way it SHOULD be.
The police dispatcher has no more business telling you not to confront someone than they have telling you not to defend yourself from an assault ... it just makes their lives a lot simpler if you act in the authorities best interest.
It was legal for Trayvon to be there too and I could make a case that George Zimmerman was stalking Trayvon that night.
You can claim your goldfish as dependents, too. That doesn't make it credible.
The police chose not to arrest Zimmerman when they responded to the shooting. Who are you to second guess them going on nothing but, by any objective standard, highly prejudiced media coverage?
The lead investigator was going to arrest Zimmerman but the DA said, never mind. I don’t have a fish. I have a pet duck and he’s smarter than a lot of posters in here. lol
What happened to Trayvon Martin had nothing to do with castle doctrine or stand your ground.
What happened to Trayvon Martin had nothing to do with race - directly.
What happened to Trayvon Martin had EVERYTHING to do with a “Hot Dog: idiot with former assault charges against him who never SHOULD have had a permit for a gun and who was playing Detective.
It had EVERYTHING to do with the local police force NOT directing this hot dog to STOP following people and confine himself to phone calls about “suspicious” people.
And EVERYTHING to do with the fact his Daddy was retired Judge from that vicinage.
So, how did you vote in the poll?
I voted NO in the poll.
If everytime some idiot violates a right and we take that right away, we will shortly have no rights left at all.
Freedom always means we have to expect that there will always be some idiot who will always violate that freedom but the solution is to punish the idiot - in this case Zimmerman - and leave our rights alone.
When I voted the number of no votes was 72%.
I am a 100% in support of the Second Amendment as well as the other 9 Amendments in the Bill of Rights all the time all the place in every situation including this one.
