9 years of college? That’s one year away from a Ph.D!
So because a vigilante/lynch-mob may want to take him out sans trial, he gets the boot, because after all, he is a “vigilante” who killed someone without giving him a trial first...
Is this some kind of a fluke?
I rather doubt that Mr. Zimmerman has been to class since the incident took place anyway. Given the circumstances I’m sure that the college would have deploy the campus police to protect him if he were to attend class and it is unreasonable to expect a college to go to such lengths for a single student.
At this point his presence in school would only be a disruption, and the other students in his classes deserve to have their class material delivered without such distractions.
However, I hope that the college refunded his tuition and provided him with a mark on his transcript that will not reflect poorly on his academic performance. Whatever else he may be guilty of is immaterial, there is no justifiable reason for him to suffer adverse consequences within the context of his academic efforts.
A young kid is dead and this guy’s life is ruined.
In the mean time, let’s try to score as many political points as we possibly can out of a tragic situation, shall we?
Sounds to me like the college doesn't think the Mob Rule trying to lynch Mr. Zimmerman will stay off campus. And to think, just about 40 years ago, the federal marshals were there to keep lynch mobs OFF the campus so students COULD go to school.
Does he get a refund?
Where are all the hispanic groups calling this racist?
If he was black and shot a hispanic guy, the race baiters would be burning down the school and the school would post an apology and retraction within the hour.
What a country!! Last year a couple of black punks drop a shopping cart from two stories onto a white woman walking below. She suffers extensive brain injuries. The two perps go to court.......and you guessed it.......walk out the door.

1. The witness reports that George Zimmerman was on the ground and Trayvon is on top of him punching him.
2. The witness says that George Zimmerman was screaming and yelling for help.
3. Police arrive and find Zimmerman bleeding on his face and the back of his head. He also has had grass stains on his back. All this confirms the story told by Zimmerman and the witness.
4. Police play the 911 tape for Trayvon Martin’s father, who tells police that the voice screaming is not the voice of his son.
Trayvon Martin was a towering 6’2” football player.
Sure would like to know why Martin was suspended from the Miami high school just a day or two before.

NEW YORK (AP) - No one knows what led a Florida neighborhood watch captain to shoot Trayvon Martin, a teenager carrying no weapon.
But a new study raises an intriguing question: Could the watch captain have been fooled into thinking the youth was armed in part because he himself was holding a gun?
In the study, volunteers who held a toy gun and glimpsed fleeting images of people holding an object were biased toward thinking the object was a gun.
It’s another indication that the brain shapes what we perceive in the world beyond the information that comes in through our eyes, said James Brockmole of the University of Notre Dame, who did the work with psychologist Jessica Witt at Purdue University.,,,
