The unapologetic social conservative, currently in second place behind Mitt Romney for the GOP nomination, has promised to crack down on the distribution of pornography if elected.

Now you say I have reading comprehension issues but you show me where he states he will ban Porn and then I will admit I have issue however he does not and it seems some are jumping off the deep end once again and taking things out of context.

Seems also we have some on here who will jump on anything just because they like to jump and that makes some no better than the left.

If you could guarantee 100% that the liberals wouldn't try and extend government censorship past porn once a generation or two of Americans has gotten used to an internet that is censored by the government, I think most of us would support you and others like you.

But you can't guarantee that, because you know there are liberals who think that us saying bad things about illegals or Islam or posting cartoons of Mohammed or "Allah" are just as obscene as any pornography.

Santorum believes that ‘hardcore’/obscene pornography is already illegal, but that the Federal government isn’t enforcing the laws.

His stance is particularly problematic because no rigorous standard exists AFAIK for determining what is ‘obscene’. Ergo, this is basically a carte blanche for prohibiting a considerably broad spectrum of material.

I’m for Rick and had many argument with Santorum supporters but jumping on this and taking his words out of context is not what most of us does, leave that to the left.
