He doesn't like cold weather so I told him to work until late November and then take a 4 month vacation until the weather become warmer next year. Oh, and be prepared to sleep in his SUV.

What I do a lot of the time is I compare gas prices to bunker fuel prices. Since December, bunker fuel has increased 15%. During the same period, automobile gasoline at the local service station has increased almost 33%. This pretty dramatically shows just how much overhead all these silly gas formulations, taxes and fees add up - the increase in the cost of oil is doubled just by governmental overhead.

And in just a few more cents, diesel will reach the magic benchmark that jumps the price of shipping for FedEx, UPS, etc. Boy, the economy sure will be roaring under these conditions!

My dad owns some property a couple hours northwest of Houston, not quite what we’d call central Texas. We went to his country place a couple weeks ago, and not only were there derricks after rigs after pumpjacks, and tons of pad sites under construction ... the closest town has three new hotels and two new trailer parks to accommodate the oil workers. They can’t get people into town fast enough to work all that oil.

PEMEX is one of the worst oil company and until it was privatized FINA and Total were basket cases to the french taxpayers. PetroBras was recently privatized...these BRAIN DEAD LEFTISTS in the USA want to NATIONALIZE OIL AND GAS?? For what -- to reduce dependence on autos?
