A group calling itself "The Women of the 99 Percent" is making robocalls across the United States in an attempt to link Republican members of the House of Representatives to "the war on women led by Rush Limbaugh".
The automated calls are illegal because they do not state who they are from (there is no known group called The Women of the 99 Percent) or provide a callback number, as required under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.
...snip...
Telephone calls and emails to the DCCC and the Democratic National Committee asking whether either organisation was connected to the robocalls were not returned.

This sounds like something the DCCC or SEIU would do.
In all 57 states?
Don't tell them that, though.
The more money they spend on nonsense like this, the better.
This sounds like dirty Chicago Politics at its worst.
..or the White House.
I’m sure Eric Holder is looking to enforce the law on this as we speak.
#2) Because the $ to pay for these ads comes from the taxpayer, WE are paying for these ads.
#3) Which leads to more democrat fecal tube politicians being elected, thus giving more of our money to...public unions.
#4) For all of the underpaid, po' workin' man teachers and policemen out there who are represented by public unions, they sure seem to have a TON of money to spend on $hit like this. Maybe it would be better invested in, I don't know, their PENSION FUNDS?
Good Point.
Someone enlighten me. Just WHY are unions exempt from do not call lists? I know it will probably have something to do with a republican compromise/cave/plain cowardice, but seriously. I’d be enraged if a private company called me with this nonsense.
But "sluts" for short.
The war on Rush is Stalinesque at this point. It bodes badly on the Dems to harrass people in their homes this way, really bad.
I’d lay money that it’s the Democrat Party.
Does she come with the box, so to speak?
Very unfortunate that Rush stumbled into this.
He identified the line of attack as soon as Steffi Stephanopolus (as directed by Axlegrease) popped the contraception question back at the first January debate.
If Rush’s staff would have spent an hour on the internet reviewing readily available info, he could have shredded Flukey.
It is prolly our stimulus money financing them.
I hope I get a call so I can call them sluts. ;-)
They already have our money. The best we can hope for is they spend it on things that don’t advance their agenda.
