Ok I've been asked by a few members of the Preppers Ping list to start a weekly thread to post things like good preparedness supply buys, small discoveries and helpful hints which possible by themselves would make a interesting thread, but would be of interest to fellow preppers. So here goes. I'll try and do this every Friday and see how it goes.
I had to pull him short. We both live near large bodies of fresh water, and we both grew up working in the family construction company THAT BUILDS WATER TREATMENT PLANTS!
His reply was "Oh.. yeah." And then after thinking about it for a bit said he probably had enough equipment to process a few thousand gallons a day out in his scrap pile (he wound up owning a construction company). Duh.
Moral of the story is look around and THINK.

Kartographer, please add me to your prepper ping list!
prep ping, please
Those also might be helpful for storing distilled beverages! ;p
Please add me to your list.
Thanks so much.
If we are already on the prepper ping list do we need to request being on this weekly thread too or are we good to go?
(If we need to request being on this weekly ping- I request [holding up my hand])
Don’t have one - tankless.
Please add me to the prepper ping list, thanks!
Just in case you thought the prepper list was a tankless task!
Many Tanks!
If any one has a link other than CL, I’d like to find one of these (or similar).
Nice! Thanks for doing this weekly prepper thread.
Doesn’t alcohol dissolve plastic?
Kart, can you put me on the prepper lists?
Probably not,
isopropyl alcohol is sold in plastic bottles.
Would you please add me to the prepper ping list? These topics are interesting. Thanks!

Could you add me to your list?
Thanks
Ah! “Olde KoRn”
“aged in authentic plastic barrels for 2 weeks”
ammoengine Rocks!
No I’ll ping everyone own Fridays after I post.
Great idea, Kart - The weekly thread and the water totes.
I looked it up. Seems OK to store booze and beer in plastic for short periods, but not for long periods. Manufacturers of the booze and beer are evasive on the exact shelf life, apparently.
I’m not a chemist so I wouldn’t be sure on this.
