Darrell Issa to finally put Eric Holder behind bars?
Coach is Right ^ | 2/06/2012 | Doug Book

As a result of his refusal to honor House committee subpoenas demanding the release of some 70 thousand Fast and Furious-related documents currently withheld by the Department of Justice, Eric Holder faces the very real possibility of arrest and imprisonment by the House of Representatives.

“Your actions lead us to conclude that the [Justice] Department is actively engaged in a cover-up,” wrote House Government Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa to Attorney General Holder just two days before his February 2nd testimony before the Committee. (1)

Stating what interested Americans have known for a year or more, Issa speaks of the contempt in which the Attorney General holds the Republican led House of Representatives and his resulting willingness to ignore subpoenas and set the terms under which he will permit DOJ officials to produce documents or respond to Committee questions.

“During your testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on December 8th, 2011, you stated that the Department of Justice will not produce any responsive documents created after February 4, 2011 regarding Operation Fast and Furious,” writes Issa of Holder’s utter disregard for congressional authority. (1)

And February 4th was a very significant date in the history of Fast and Furious. On that day, Assistant Attorney General Ron Weich addressed a letter to congress, claiming the Department of Justice had allowed no alleged “gunwalking” to take place, directly contradicting the testimony provided Senator Charles Grassley by ATF whistle blowers.

And that lie was maintained by the Department until May 5th when Holder suddenly altered the DOJ’s recollection of events in a meeting of underlings and House committee staff.

Yet with all the evidence of DOJ involvement in the Fast and Furious cover-up and all the complaints of Committee members concerning the non-compliance of Holder and his DOJ herd, the REAL question...

This will never happen. The whole system and all of the players are corrupt. They all have dirt on one another.

It’ll never happen, especially with Boehner beginning to get in the way of real action.

But there’ll be lot of talking about it... will that help? /s

If Issa puts him in prison,

AND IF they pick a proper cellmate,

Holder may become quite compliant...

Just a thought...

I predict he won’t and he won’t; that is, won’t release the documents and won’t go to jail.

Works for me in this Banana Republic.

Issa should gather all the evidence he can, and continue to push this hard, calling Holder before the bar time and again...catching him in his words, getting him angry and showing his arrogance and contempt.

Then, they should proceed with and indictment right after the new President is sworn into office and before Holder resigns or is replaced. At that point, arrest him, try him and convict him...and then do the same if they can to Obama because there is a White House connection to this through the National Security Agency and a link right into the White House. If they can dig that evidence out too...then they will catch both of these fish and put them away at a time when no one can issue a pardon to them.

I don’t think congress has the physical mechanisms in place to arrest the Attorney General and place him in custody. The problem is that Congress USUALLY asks the DOJ to do this for them. Guess who runs the DOJ!

Further - The Attorney General is part of the Executive branch which can claim executive privilege. Then it is also unlikely that the courts are going to be willing to step into the middle of a spat between the two other branches..they rarely are.

They would fave to impeach him.

Republicans have the power, the authority and the legal and ethical right to put Eric Holder exactly where he belongs for complicity in the breaking of countless laws and the murder of hundreds—Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. But do they have the guts!

I'm guessing that it's beyond guts vis-a-vis mere politics.

Dr. Jerome Corsi has found links that could reveal a F&F connection to Chinese mega-bank HSBC -- my guess is that HSBC has intimate connections to just about every GS, SES, appointed, and elected government employee in D.C. Lot$ of connection$.

Obama/Holder DoJ's F&F could have used HSBC as drugs and terrorists use HSBC to transfer money surreptitiously.

Also last week on the CoastToCoastAM show Corsi made a cryptic reference to HSBC and "stimulus." If this means that there is evidence that HSBC was used to distribute Obama stimulus money then there's a whol' lot o' shakin' about to happen.

I heard Dr. Corsi say in an interview last Saturday (KSFO, Barbara Simpson) that no story of his has every brought the response from Washington, D.C. like this one has. He is deciding how to protect himself and his story by not, for example, telling anyone who all was given the evidence that he accumulated.

Evidence obtained from a named HSBC source, I believe, and includes hundreds of documents.

Dr. Corsi writes for WND.com and will appear on the first hour of tonight's CoastToCoastAM.. I just hope that the host, George Noory, permits him to talk freely. Noory has in the past refused to let Corsi criticize PRESIDENT! Obama. But Noory himself seems to have realized (after three years!) that Obama is not the Messiah.

This Doug Book who wrote the piece — he’s *seriously* asking the question, “what, if ANYTHING will Republican controlled House committees DO about it?” He’s referring to the RNC/GOP-e controlled house of representatives? The same one led by “No-Backbone” Boehner?

Dude actually thinks he can write a piece like that and what, *shame* them into action?! LOL! Oh my word, that’s a good one!

Supposedly, last election we “swept” in a bunch of tea-party candidates that was supposed to send a signal, or clean house or just bloody *DO SOMETHING*... and we got zero.

The Boehner led house will sure *TALK* a good fight. But, when it comes time to get some blood on their knuckles, I have no reason to expect they won’t cower down, just like always.

It's a process (changing DC) JD, not an overnight thing. We just need to ensure the "process" continues this November.

This is kind of hopeful given the state of our lawless government.

I’m begining to wonder if the Republicans or the courts would do anything if Obama and his minions committed genocide in the US. As long as they claimed they had to do the killing to stop domestic terrorism, I think they can get away with anything. I think it is pretty clear that the government has ended the constitution is above the law now.

>>...It’s a process (changing DC) JD, not an overnight thing...<<

Oh, I’m with you. If you look at my recent comments, I’m quite the broken record about (what I see as) the problem: We’re outnumbered with no leverage. The solution is simply to increase the number of voters who will eagerly nominate, support and vote for a more conservative politician.

I also think it will take *many* election cycles and will span generations — if we can do it at all. Until that happens, nothing changes and we will remain outnumbered and out-leveraged by the moderates & independants who readily throw *GOBS* of cash and votes at the RNC/GOP-e/RINO’s.

The root cause (my opinion): Folks nowadays vote with their hand held out. We have to convince them otherwise and I just don’t see that happening with any speed.

As much as I hear that the majority of folks self-identify as “conservative” v. “liberal”, I have to wonder how the heck they define “conservative”? If it’s actually true, why are they lining up to donate to and vote for RINO-Romney when they also have Gingrich, Santorum and Paul to choose from? So, clearly we have our work cut out for us. I just wish I had some idea of how to speed up the process before the country disintegrates economically.

I think the forces behind Obammie have done this for us.
It's war, nothing short of war. We were engaged by the left some 50 years ago.
Their true colors are finally showing through. Yes, unfortunately many impressionable youth will fall into their trappings.
It is this generation who can break the cycle. We've "been there, done that".
