Here's the gist..My daughter a senior got into a discussion with other students in her last hour class about President Obama, whether or not he is a good president. As she voiced her opinion that he was a bad president for our country and that she felt he was ushered into office because people were excited to elect the first black president was one reason he was elected and to our detriment he was not properly vetted..
Well the teacher interjected and called her a racist for her opinion. The bell rang and it was left at that.
I'm livid and will be calling out this teacher on Monday.
Just to let you all know, my family is very diverse and we come from many different cultures.
I am married to a man who is 1/16 Sioux Indian. I have 3 hispanic neices and a nephew. I have four African American neices and nephews. My kids never have been taught to judge people on ethnicity. I think our only sin is we are conservative and Christian according to the lefties.
So if you all don't mind praying for me that I will have the wisdom to approach the situation, I would truly appreciate it. My heritage as a hillibilly raised in rural Michigan is a huge dis-advantage for me!

Your daughter must confront her teacher with this info and call her teacher out for NOT researching this unknown entity PRIOR to the election; then your daughter needs to alert her “teacher” to the fact that she/he must be a communist for having voted for and continuing to support this POS. (and have her remind them that Obamao will probably take over this “teacher’s” 401K to pay for HIS overspending...see how THAT goes down!)

However, if I were the daughter, I'd be tempted to say "I'll be happy to prove to you that I'm not a racist just as soon as you prove to me that you're not a whore." That would certainly guarantee a trip to the principal's office but would certainly make a point.
Calling people a racist is what they say when they don't have anything intelligent to say. You can't really reason with a person like that.
For a teacher to call a student a racist is inappropriate because of the student teacher relationship. The student is in no position to return the insult.
A more professional teacher would have said that if they saw things differently they should just agree to disagree and leave it at that.
As far as proving she is not a racist, it is not possible to prove a negative. I hope the teacher knows that.
I once had a philosophy professor that would make statements like that and ask students to use logical arguments to defend their positions.
Go down there and whisper in her ear that your daughter had better come home today with a report that she was issued an apology in front of the class. If that doesn’t happen the teacher will lose a few teeth. Like I said, whisper to her and mean it.
If the teacher is a man, have your husband do it.
Add to that a demand that this teacher not be allowed to mark your child’s homework, as she has demonstrated a bias position against your daughter, which could affect the teacher’s perception of your child’s work.
If the Teacher is a male and married, ask him to prove he doesn’t beat his wife.
Ask him if he/she is a Democrat and how he/she felt about his/her party electing a former “Grand Kleagle” of the KKK to the position of President pro tempore of the United States Senate. (Robert Byrd) and how it wasn’t racist to elect a former Klan recruiter to the highest ranking position in the Senate and how it makes every Dem a racist that didn’t object.
Ask the Teacher to honestly debate the question instead of playing the red-herring race card and since he/she made the accusation, the proof is on him/her to prove the baseless accusation.
If they cannot, tell him/her that he/she will be hearing from your attorney for slander.
Report the Teacher to the Principal, School Board and contact your local news media over the weekend.
File a lawsuit for emotional distress and damages.
Contact an Attorney, ASAP, preferably not an ACLU type.
It is inappropriate for a Teacher to call a student a racist for saying Obama wasn’t vetted because the media was enamored with a minority Presidential candidate.
If your child has an MP3 player, most have the ability to record audio. Your child should start recording classroom lessons and debates which can be used as proof if other incidents occur.
If caught recording, merely say it was for note-taking.

I had a Government Class Teacher like this in High School, and he failed me because he didn’t teach the curriculum, he instead spewed his liberal views which I challenged him on.
After he failed me, I asked him why, even though I did well on the tests, he said “You didn’t understand the lessons”
I actually had to attend Summer School and take Government Class again (Different Teacher, a little less of a lib fanatic) to finish High School, but I didn’t get to graduate with my class thanks to my liberal Government class Teacher because I refused to be indoctrinated and challenged him and his viewpoints in class and even as a teen, poked holes in his arguments which is why he flunked me.
You also should be aware that this teacher put your daughter in physical danger. I would not want my child to go to school every day with a “racist” sign on her back.
Go to the authorities with this. And go to the press at the same time. Right after you whisper in her ear.

I would spit on the ground in front of this teacher everytime I saw him. And I’d “see” him a lot! Eventually he’ll become so rattled he’ll go nuts. All liberals are only a few ticks away from insanity as it is.

I have two Nephews in public school, the same schools I went to when I was their age.
I ask them how “Shop” class is going and they look at me like I’m crazy.
“Shop class?” Is that a class on how to shop wisely?
I tell them “Wood Shop, Metal Shop, Drafting, Electronics, etc...”
Nope. All of those classes that taught boys a trade have been replaced with Gay studies, Tolerance classes, Diversity training and other BS

I asked my Brother if he was aware of this and he said he was and has complained to the school, but they gave him some BS on this is the curriculum the School Board voted on, blah, blah, blah and you can always put your kids in Private school.
Home schooling is out of the question as it is Illegal in California!
To the OP - Raise as much hell using every possible option unless you want your children having more of the same pushed on them, along with “Diversity Training”
Oh, and my Nephews found out I’m a Gun Owner and they became scared of me, as they have been taught in school that “Guns are bad” as are Gun Owners.

Do not put up with this crap, do not be nice about it, get in the teachers face, the principals face, threaten lawsuits, file a complaint - fight back and do so with venom - make this teacher pay. Watch how quickly this teacher folds. All liberals fold when confronted with truth and force.
Fight back - hold the line. What you do presents an example to other children in that school who think for themselves. Those kids see you and your daughter fold in the face of this and they'll remember its not worth their time to speak their mind. It also lets leftist bastards who are teachers in that school know they can not get away with this crap.

My mother taught for 30 years. She was amazing. At the very first sign of ANY problem she would just pop right in to see my principal to make sure “there were no misunderstandings and everything was all sorted out before it became a real problem”.
I always loved the way she said that... as if there would be some serious heck to pay if things didn’t get sorted out!
Seriously, get in there and be seen and heard. It can make a big difference! Also it will keep the teacher honest when its time to give grades, if she knows you will be watching.
Teachers are just people. Some are great! Some are just stupid and petty.
First -- she should say that she doesn't see him as a black or white or orange -- he's mixed race, just like her family
Secondly, she should agree that it was a moment for the country when Obama was elected which should America is post-racist. AND then she should capitalize on this and say "since 2008, America is post-racist. There is no black or white, I see Obama as a President, not the color of his skin. And I believe that every President should be vetter for experience, whatever they look like"
Also inform your daughter that if she is asked any further pointed questions concerning Obama (before you can contact her principal), to reply politely, “I’m sorry. My parent will be handling this matter and I’ve been asked not to respond.”
